After Mike "Mkspresident" Shin exited as the bubble bout in 73rd place, the in-the-money eliminations came at a steady pace and included WSOP bracelet winner Ryan "Joeyisamush" Depaulo (49th - $1,103), Galen "turkmalloy" Hall (44th - $1,237), David "dwpoker" Williams (37th - $1,237), last year's champ Nathan "surfbum" Gamble (31st - $1,398), Yueqi "anoob" Zhu (18th - $1,990), and "tobi7bobi" (7th - $6,777).

Final Table Action

With six players to start the final table, one of them had to be the first to fall and that was Andrew "WATCHGUY42" Lichtenberger who flush flushed on the river by Chang. A few hands later, Chang continued with another elimination after he turned broadway to send Chris "pdx2nyc" Leslie-Hynan home in fifth place.

Brian "PiggyBear" Hacker was up next on the chopping block after their pocket nines were straightened out by Edwin "YungFlipWell" Roman on the river.

With the final three players sitting fairly even, the action was slow for the first two levels until Chang started gaining traction once again, turning a queen to eliminate Ryan "Santasbzack2" Stoker in third place for $35,663.

The heads-up battle saw Chang hold the majority of the chips in play and made quick work of Roman to earn him his second WSOP bracelet.

The 2021 WSOP Online continues on Saturday with Event #17: $400 NLH 8-Max. PokerNews will be live reporting and streaming the action, so be sure to join us then.

Edwin "YungFlipWell" Roman Eliminated in 2nd Place ($37,837)

Level 32 : 60,000/120,000, 0 ante

Edwin "YungFlipWell" Roman raised to 360,000 from the button, Allen "Acnyc718" Chang called.

The flop came the {5-Diamonds}{8-Spades}{j-Diamonds}, Chang bet 720,000 which was covering the remaining 575,780 of Roman who called.

It was looking like a possible split pot as Chang led the low with the {9-Clubs}{5-Spades}{4-Clubs}{3-Spades}, while Roman held the {a-Diamonds}{q-Hearts}{j-Spades}{6-Hearts} for a pair of jacks for the high.

The turn was the {q-Spades} and the river came the {k-Spades} to bring in the flush for Chang and eliminate Roman in second place.

Level 32 : 60,000/120,000, 0 ante

Ryan "Santasbzack2" Stoker was all in on the button for 671,036 and Allen "Acnyc718" Chang called from the big blind.

Allen "Acnyc718" Chang: {a-Clubs}{k-Hearts}{q-Spades}{9-Hearts}
Ryan "Santasbzack2" Stoker: {a-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}{9-Diamonds}{3-Clubs}

The {2-Hearts}{5-Clubs}{j-Clubs} flop gave Stoker the wheel draw and the {q-Diamonds} turn gave both players a broadway draw while pairing Chang's queen.

Stoker held a handful of outs but the {9-Spades} river wasn't a winning one as it ended his tournament in third place for $25,843.

Allen "Acnyc718" Chang: {a-Clubs}{q-Clubs}{10-Clubs}{4-Clubs}
Chris "pdx2nyc" Leslie-Hynan: {a-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}{4-Hearts}{3-Diamonds}

The {10-Spades}{k-Hearts}{7-Hearts} flop paired both players but the {j-Hearts} turn gave Chang broadway and with no lo possibilities, Leslie-Hynan was drawing to a chop at best.

Unfortunately for Leslie-Hynan, the {9-Clubs} river wasn't a queen and his tournament ended.
