Level 20 : 4,000/8,000, 0 ante

Craig "mrjanovich" Mason raised to 14,555 from the button, Dylan "thedogsofwar" Wilkerson called from the big blind.

The flop came the {a-Diamonds}{4-Clubs}{j-Spades}. Mason bet 9,999, Wilkerson called.

The turn came the {3-Spades}. Mason bet again, this time for 23,555, Wilkerson pounced with a raise to 123,773 and Mason folded as Wilkerson added more to his big stack.

Orson Young
Orson Young

Orson "borgatcha" Young open-jammed for 26,741 from the cutoff and Alexander "ShadowFiend1" Condon isolated on the button with a 70,00o three-bet.

Orson "borgatcha" Young: {k-Hearts}{10-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}
Alexander "ShadowFiend1" Condon: {q-Clubs}{q-Spades}{10-Spades}{3-Clubs}

Young was behind and nothing changed after the {3-Diamonds}{2-Hearts}{9-Diamonds} flop appeared.

The {q-Hearts} turn gave Condon a set of ladies while Young picked-up a gutshot and heart flush draw.

Unfortunately for Young, the {7-Spades} river was a brick and his tournament ended in 46th place for $1,250.

A Day in the Life of the "Poker Brat" Phil Hellmuth

Level 19 : 3,000/6,000, 0 ante

Our very own Chad Holloway and Jesse Fullen recently had the pleasure to follow around Phil Hellmuth for a day.

The "Poker Brat" showed PokerNews his home away from home at the ARIA Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas and put in an online poker session on his tablet - not just in his suite, but also while working out in the gym.

Check it out!

Foxen Doubles With Aces

Level 18 : 2,500/5,000, 0 ante

Alex "OrcinusOrca" Foxen raised to 22,500, Dylan "TheSmith" Smith three-bet from the big blind enough to put Foxen all in who called.

Foxen was looking to stay alive holding the {a-Hearts}{a-Spades}{6-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds} vs the {k-Clubs}{k-Diamonds}{8-Spades}{7-Diamonds} of Smith.

The board ran out {5-Diamonds}{2-Spades}{j-Spades}{3-Hearts}{10-Diamonds} and Foxen was able to survive with a double up.

Ari Engel

Jason "TheBigGift" Gooch raised on the button and then called the 31,000 three-bet Ari "PalmTreeB" Engel made from the small blind.

Once the {2-Hearts}{8-Hearts}{q-Clubs} flop appeared, Engel continued for 66,000 and then called off his 26,212 stack after Gooch raised to 132,000.

Ari "PalmTreeB" Engel: {a-Clubs}{k-Clubs}{q-Spades}{2-Spades}
Jason "TheBigGift" Gooch: {10-Hearts}{9-Clubs}{8-Spades}{6-Hearts}

Engel was ahead after flopping two-pair but the {3-Hearts} turn completed the flush for Gooch and the {6-Clubs} river ended Engel's tournament in 59th place for $1,131.

Don't Miss the Feature "WSOP History: An Oral History of ChipTic"

Level 18 : 2,500/5,000, 0 ante
ChipTic
ChipTic

At the 2012 World Series of Poker, a shiny new product received its public unveiling. Players and fans the world over were introduced to a program with revolutionary potential. It could track the chip ebbs and flows of every player in a tournament while also serving as the back end operating system to run said tournament. It promised the ability to change the way poker tournaments were followed, with players and fans interacting at the stroke of a few keys.

That product was ChipTic. And it proved to be a colossal failure.

This is the two-part oral history of ChipTic, from those who experienced it first-hand and witnessed that failure — three former employees, two members of WSOP staff, and two poker media members who watched it implode.
