Action on the table folded around to the small blind where Patrick "Synesthesia" Eskandar got into a raising battle with Ryan "BitC0in" Riess from the big blind which saw Eskandar call a 8,900 five-bet.

The {7-Spades}{10-Diamonds}{3-Spades} flop was checked by both players to the {9-Clubs} turn where Eskandar moved all-in for 17,222 and Riess snap-called.

Ryan "BitC0in" Riess: {a-Spades}{a-Hearts}
Patrick "Synesthesia" Eskandar: {8-Clubs}{8-Hearts}

Eskandar was behind needing any jack, eight or six but the {10-Spades} river secured Riess the pot and Eskandar re-entered the tournament.

Daniel "spicoli24" Sepiol Poised For a Breakout

Level 6 : 150/300, 30 ante
Daniel Sepiol
Daniel Sepiol

Daniel "spicoli24" Sepiol has been a fixture on the Midwest poker circuits for a few years, spending much time on the felt on the Mid States Poker Tour, Heartland Poker Tour, and World Series of Poker Circuit, to name a few places the Indiana native has frequented. 2021 has served as a leaping pad for Sepiol to take a big step towards the next level, and his results leading up to the WSOP.com Online Bracelet Series speak for themselves.

Sepiol's first taste of success came in March during the 2021 MSPT Iowa Riverside $1,100 Main Event. Sepiol took down his first MSPT title, along with a career-high score of $162,781 for beating a field of 862 entrants. June was another lucrative month for Sepiol, as he earned $105,450 in a heads-up chop with Michael Newman in the Venetian Deep Stack Championship Series Event #45: $1,100 Ultimate Stack. He capped off his stellar month with a 45th-place finish in the Wynn Millions $10,000 NLH for $51,650.

Sepiol now sets his sights on the WSOP.com Online Bracelet Series, looking to continue his plethora of success in 2021. Will he continue the breakout year in his transition to the virtual felt? In today's High Roller Championship event, he sits just below starting stack, and we'll be keeping our eyes on his performances all summer long.

Through August 3rd, the World Series of Poker (WSOP) will begin hosting daily online gold bracelet events on WSOP.com. There will be 33 bracelets awarded over 32 days, and PokerNews is excited to announce we’ll not only be live reporting all the action but also offering poker fans daily live streams.

Every day, viewers at home will have access to watching the biggest names hunt for bracelets. In conjunction with PokerNews, Jeff Platt will host early action from each tournament at twitch.tv/jeffplatt, starting around the money bubble each day and taking players all the way to the final table.

“I am thrilled to team up with PokerNews to present coverage of the 2021 WSOP Online,” said Platt, who is a co-host of the PokerNews Podcast. “We learned last year that the prestige of bracelet events draws an incredibly passionate audience on Twitch. I can’t wait to interact with that audience again as we crown poker’s newest champions.”

After Platt’s streams, coverage will then shift to twitch.tv/pokernews where PokerNews’ own Jesse Fullen will cover final table action alongside a rotating cast of co-hosts including Alec Torelli, Ryan Laplante, Jesse Sylvia, KL Cleeton, Rampage Poker, and Jaman Burton, among others. The streams will also be featured on YouTube and Facebook.

“WSOP Online will certainly be the biggest online series of the year in the USA. We’re thrilled PokerNews has again stepped up to provide fans a way to follow the action,” said Ty Stewart, Executive Director of the WSOP. “Jeff Platt’s personal streams were a highlight of last year’s online series and we have no doubt the PokerNews final table streams will be an entertaining watch.”
