Cary Katz had started pulling into a solid lead but Henri Puustinen just earned some chips back without showdown. Katz bet the {j-Hearts}{7-Hearts}{6-Clubs}{10-Spades} turn for 22,000 and Puustinen came along. Katz checked the {a-Clubs} and a bet worth 130,000 by Puustinen resulted in a snap-fold.

Zack Gets a Bluff Through

Level 30 : 4,000/8,000, 0 ante

With 175,000 in the middle and the board showing {5-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}{4-Hearts}{a-Hearts}{5-Clubs}, Daniel Zack bet 180,000 and Jimmy D'Ambrosio went into the tank.

"For 28 you don't give off anything," said D'Ambrosio. "Will you show me if I fold?"

D'Ambrosio finally elected on a fold and Zack turned over {7-Clubs}{6-Clubs} for the bluff.

D'Ambrosio showed {10-Hearts}{9-Diamonds}. "This is what I almost called you with," he said.

Shevlyakov Outkicks Badziakouski

With over 100,000 in the pot and {8-Spades}{10-Spades}{9-Hearts}{k-Spades}{6-Diamonds} on the board, Mikita Badziakouski and Aleksandr Shevlyakov checked the river.

Shevlyakov turned over {j-Clubs}{10-Hearts} to beat the {10-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds} of Badziakouski with a pair of tens and the better kicker.

Shevlyakov won the pot and took a small lead in what has been a close battle so far.

Becker Nearly Back to Even

After a rough start against Jason Koon, Johannes Becker has pulled back to nearly even in chips.
