Caputo Bests Apte

Level 25 : 30,000/60,000, 60,000 ante

Brandon Caputo raised to 120,000 from early position and called a three-bet to 390,000 from big blind Girish Apte.

They both checked the {k-Spades}{4-Hearts}{3-Diamonds} flop. When the {5-Diamonds} came on the turn, Apte led out for 200,000 and Caputo called. The same action repeated on the {8-Clubs} river, with Apte betting 250,000 and Caputo calling.

Apte showed {q-Clubs}{q-Diamonds}, but Caputo had him beat with {a-Diamonds}{k-Diamonds} for a pair of kings.

"Good thing we didn't get it all in," Apte said.
