From the under-the-gun position, Bart Lybaert raised to 80,000 with very few chips behind and Darren Elias pushed for more than 330,000 from the very next seat. Leonid Yanovski then asked for the stack size of Elias and called all-in for 180,000. Another player behind also asked for the stack sizes but let go, Lybaert then called all-in.

The board ran out and Yanovski doubled through Elias while sending Lybaert to the payout desk.
Andrew Sthilaire raised to 27,000 and Matt Affleck called from one seat over in the cutoff. Jonathan Therme then three-bet to 95,000 and Sthilaire asked to see his stack size before making it 227,000 to go. Affleck quickly folded and Therme also let go.
Ben Yu shoved the rest of his short stack into the middle from the small blind and was snap-called by Joshua Heinzl in the big blind.

Yu took the lead in the hand when the flop came , giving him a pair of queens and a flush draw, but Heinzl spiked the on the turn. Yu made trips on the river, but it also gave Heinzl a full house to knock out the three-time WSOP bracelet winner in 82nd place.
Landen Lucas and Keyi Tan were heads-up in a pot on the river with the board showing . Lucas led out for 400,000, covering Tan's remaining stack.
Tan went into the tank for several minutes before calling. Lucas showed for ace-high and a missed straight draw, while Tan had for a pair of fives to win the massive pot.
Tan, who began the day with 97,000, is already up to around 620,000. Lucas was left with 410,000.
A raise to 60,000 was in front of Sam Grafton and Sean Lauper then pushed. Thinking he had been called, Lauper exposed his cards briefly but Grafton had not seen them yet. The floor was called for a moment but Grafton called anyways.

The board ran out and Lauper held onto his lead, leaving Grafton with crumbs.
Stephen Song made the pay jump as he held the bigger stack in a three-way all-in right before his table broke. Plenty of other notables also ran out of chips including Ran Ilani, Jim Collopy, Heather Alcorn, Colin Robinson, Michael Marder, and Faraz Jaka.
Big names are out in force at the 2021 World Series of Poker, with the eyes of the poker community on some of the best poker players in the world.
