Nastasa Pays Off Lee

Level 26 : 30,000/60,000, 60,000 ante

Action was picked up on the river as the board read {9-Spades}{q-Clubs}{j-Clubs}{5-Hearts}{5-Clubs}. From middle position Robert Lee bet 600,000, Gabriel Nastasa went into the tank.

Nastasa finally called after about a minute. Lee tabled the {10-Clubs}{7-Clubs} for the flush. Nastasa slammed the table with his hand and started to berate himself as his chips went across the table.

"Playing so stupid. Why am I playing so stupid?" said Nastasa again and again to himself out loud as he counted about his now shotrer stack.

Michael Mcnicholas raised to 120,000 and Anne Bui called from one seat over. Sonny Franco then got the last of his 165,000 short stack in from the big blind and was called by Mcnicholas and Bui. On the {10-Diamonds}{9-Clubs}{8-Hearts} flop, Mcnicholas bet 200,000 for Bui to call and then jammed the {5-Spades} turn.

Bui asked for a count but folded when it was deemed to be for 1,070,000 total.

Sonny Franco: {8-Clubs}{2-Clubs}
Michael Mcnicholas: {j-Diamonds}{j-Hearts}

The {5-Clubs} river paired the board and Franco was sent to the payout desk.
