Spanne Doubles Through Kade

Level 25 : 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante

Vanessa Kade raised to 110,000 and instantly called the shove by Joey Spanne for 535,000 total.

"I can't look," Kade said and mentioned she had already lost with the hand prior.

Joey Spanne: {6-Diamonds}{6-Hearts}
Vanessa Kade: {q-Diamonds}{q-Hearts}

Sure enough the dominated pair got there on the {j-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}{6-Clubs}{2-Hearts}{k-Clubs} board to put a dent into Kade's stack.

Lucas Busts Two in a Row

Level 25 : 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante

The cards were already tabled when Shmuel Hada was at risk preflop with the {8-Hearts}{8-Spades} and Landen Lucas had the suited overcards with the {a-Spades}{k-Spades}. On a board of {j-Spades}{3-Diamonds}{2-Hearts}{3-Clubs}{k-Diamonds}, Lucas got there on the river.

Soon after, he raised to 100,000 from under the gun and Adam Reynolds pushed for 475,000 in a middle position. The action folded back to Lucas and he instantly called.

Adam Reynolds: {5-Diamonds}{5-Hearts}
Landen Lucas: {8-Clubs}{8-Spades}

The superior pair remained ahead throughout a board of {k-Hearts}{7-Hearts}{6-Diamonds}{6-Clubs}{a-Clubs} and that spelled the end for Reynolds as well.

Jones Makes Hero Call for Tournament Life on Scary Board

Level 24 : Blinds 20,000/40,000, 40,000 ante
Ryan Jones
Ryan Jones

From the big blind, Ryan Jones three-bet over a hijack raise from Landen Lucas who called.

The flop came the 345. Jones led for 125,000 and Lucas called.

The turn was the 2 to put four to a straight flush on the board. Both players checked to the river which came the 10.

Jones bet 500,000 into a pot that was about 850,000. Lucas waited a few seconds and raised all in to put Jones to the ultimate test for his tournament life.

Jones went into the tank and thought it out, rubbing his head and looking pained by the huge decision. Eventually he called.

Lucas revealed the 97 for nothing. Jones immediately said "Yes!" and tabled the AK for the wheel, good enough for the pot. Several players at the table said "Wow!" unable to believe the call from Jones and complimented him on it as he raked in the humongous pot.

After some consideration, Song made the call and there were some gasps by other players at the table when the cards were revealed.

Ye Yuan: {6-Hearts}{6-Spades}
Stephen Song: {q-Clubs}{7-Clubs}

The {10-Clubs} turn immediately locked up the hand for Song and the {6-Diamonds} river was no longer significant.
