Gaspard Crushes Rotholz

Level 12
Jean Gaspard
Jean Gaspard

Limit Hold'em

In a battle big blind versus button, Jean Gaspard bet the {k-Clubs}{9-Hearts}{5-Diamonds} flop, the {k-Hearts} turn and the {q-Diamonds} river. Hal Rotholz called it down and mucked when Gaspard tabled the {q-Spades}{7-Diamonds} for kings and queens.

"You are crushing me," Rotholz admitted and Gaspard replied "you are putting the chips in, you are crushing you."

After some more chatter, Gaspard admitted "I don't know how good I am but I am very lucky." The early stages of Day 2 have certainly propelled Gaspard to a bigger stack while Rotholz has been all but sent to the ropes.

Perry Gets Chopped Up

Level 12

Stud Hi-Lo

DJ Buckley: {x-}{x-} / {9-Clubs}{6-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}{6-Hearts} / {x-}
Sean Perry: {x-}{x-} / {6-Clubs}{7-Hearts}{k-Clubs}{5-Spades} / {x-}
Matthew Ashton: {x-}{x-} / {2-Diamonds}{4-Clubs}{k-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds} / {x-}

In a multi-way Stud Hi-Lo hand, there was action aplenty on the earlier streets but the trio ended up checking through seventh. Sean Perry briefly flashed his cards but his low was not good enough, as Matthew Ashton revealed {a-Hearts}{8-Spades}{7-Clubs}. DJ Buckley won the high pot with {10-Spades}{10-Clubs}{x-} for tens and sixes and Perry failed to get any portion of the chips.

Vitch takes From Zack

Level 12

Limit Hold'em

In a battle of the blinds, Daniel Zack check-raised the {8-Spades}{7-Hearts}{4-Diamonds} flop to get called by Chris Vitch. He then checked the {3-Clubs} turn to call a bet by Vitch and checked again the {k-Spades} on the river. Vitch bet once more and that won the pot uncontested.

"So weird," Vitch whispered in table chat while raking in the pot.
