Towson Catches Daniels Bluffing

Level 2 : 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante

Jake Daniels raised to 7,500 from early position before David Towson three-bet from the hijack to 18,500. Daniels called to see a flop of {2-Spades}{6-Diamonds}{6-Spades}. Towson continued for 15,000 after Daniels checked, and Daniels called.

Both players checked the {a-Diamonds} turn. When the river came the {4-Clubs}, Daniels led out for 52,000. Towson went into the tank for a few minutes before making the call, then slammed down his {j-Diamonds}{j-Hearts} when Daniels showed a bluff.

Towson also won the next pot when he raised to 9,000 pre-flop and got three callers, including Christian Harder. He continued for 25,000 on the {7-Spades}{4-Spades}{j-Clubs} flop, and everyone folded.

Daniels, meanwhile, was eliminated a few hands later

Beck Flops Two Pairs

Level 2 : 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante

With roughly 20,000 in the middle the board read, {9-Spades}{8-Clubs}{2-Hearts}. Jason Beck checked and a player bet out 6,000 before the button called. Beck put in a raise to 16,000 forcing the original bettor to fold and the button made the call once again.

The turn was the {10-Clubs} and both players checked to see the {k-Spades} on the river. They both checked once again and Beck tabled {8-Diamonds}{2-Spades} for two pairs on the flop and his opponent mucked his hand.

Negreanu Loses More to Hrabec

Level 2 : 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante

Daniel Negreanu was involved in a three-way pot from the small blind with a player in early position and former nemesis Roman Hrabec on the button.

The player in early position bet 15,000 on a flop of {3-Diamonds}{2-Spades}{2-Hearts}, and both Negreanu and Hrabec called. Negreanu led out for 20,000 on the {a-Hearts} turn, and the early position player called. Hrabec then raised to 50,000, and Negreanu folded.

The other player called to see the {q-Hearts} river, and both checked. Hrabec's opponent showed {a-}{q-} for two pair, aces and deuces, but Hrabec turned over {6-Hearts}{5-Hearts} for the rivered flush.
