Adams and Redman Split with Straights

Level 1

Big O

With over 5,000 in the pot and {10-Clubs}{k-Spades}{j-Clubs}{8-Diamonds} on the board, action was on Glenn "Gus" Adams in the cutoff with a bet of 3,000. A player in the big blind came along and Robert Redman called from under the gun.

The river card was {q-Hearts}. Action checked to Adams and he bet 8,000. The player in the big blind folded and Redman called.

Adams turned over {a-Diamonds}{q-Diamonds}{6-Spades}{5-Spades}{3-Diamonds} for a straight and Redman turned over {a-Clubs}{j-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}{8-Spades}{2-Spades} to split the pot with another straight.
