Mikiyo Aoki leads the final five of Event #22: Ladies No-Limit Hold’em Championship at the 2021 World Series of Poker.

Day 3 began with 17 players and five will return for the final table after nearly six hours of play. Aoki started the day as the chip leader and ended the day still in the pole position.

On Day 1, Aoki was one of only a few players who bagged over 100,000 chips. She was able to maintain a healthy stack throughout Day 2 capturing the chip lead by the end of play. She started Day 3 with 1,674,000 but at one point had dipped below the 1,000,000 mark. She was able to recover her stack and some by bagging 3,880,000 for the lead going into the final five. She'll look to improve upon her runner-up finish from 2014 where she cashed for $94,800.

The remaining four players returning for Day 4 are Debora Brooke, Diane Cooley, Lara Eisenberg, and Women’s Poker Hall of Famer JJ Liu.
