Mikiyo Aoki leads the final five of Event #22: Ladies No-Limit Hold’em Championship at the 2021 World Series of Poker.
Day 3 began with 17 players and five will return for the final table after nearly six hours of play. Aoki started the day as the chip leader and ended the day still in the pole position.
On Day 1, Aoki was one of only a few players who bagged over 100,000 chips. She was able to maintain a healthy stack throughout Day 2 capturing the chip lead by the end of play. She started Day 3 with 1,674,000 but at one point had dipped below the 1,000,000 mark. She was able to recover her stack and some by bagging 3,880,000 for the lead going into the final five. She'll look to improve upon her runner-up finish from 2014 where she cashed for $94,800.

Marle Cordeiro couldn’t capture her first WSOP gold bracelet but she made the final table and came up short of Day 4 finishing in seventh place for $14,791.
The final table of Event #22: Ladies No-Limit Hold'em Championship will be streamed on PokerGo on Thursday, October 14 at 4 p.m. local time.
Play will resume in Level 25 with 25,000/50,000 blinds and a 50,000 big blind ante and Day 4 will play down to a winner.

Debora Brooke raised to 175,000 from middle position and Qing Lu shoved from the next seat over for over 1 million. Brook made the call.
The board ran out and the flopped ace held to eliminate Lu from the tournament in sixth place.
Lara Eisenberg opened to 100,000 under the gun. JJ Liu called in the hijack. Mikiyo Aoki called in the cutoff and Qing Lu completed with a call in the big blind. It went four-ways to the flop.
The action checked to Liu who bet 70,000. Aoki was the only player to call and they went heads-up to the turn.

Both players held a pocket pair but Aoki's pocket nines were the best hand.
Marle Cordeiro shoved for around 200,000 from the small blind and Mikiyo Aoki called from the big blind.
The board ran out and the pair of aces held to eliminate Cordeiro from the tournament in seventh place. Aoki extends her chip lead late in Day 3 action.
The action folded to JJ Liu in the small blind and she limped for 50,000. Marle Cordeiro checked in the big blind.
