Affleck Loses One

Action picked up on the turn with a board reading {8-Diamonds}{j-Spades}{3-Diamonds}{a-Clubs} with roughly 7,600 in a pot, Matt Affleck had bet out 4,500 and the opponent in later position was in the tank. The opponent called and a river was dealt

The river came a {4-Diamonds} and Affleck checked. The opponent led out for 3,500 and Affleck shook his head while putting in the chips for a call.

The opponent showed {a-Hearts}{k-Clubs} for top pair, top kicker, which was good enough for the pot and Affleck mucked his hand.

Darroundi Eliminates another Player

The board read {3-Hearts}{8-Hearts}{3-Diamonds}{7-Hearts} and Ali Darroundi made it 20,000 to go. Tha forced the other player to put in his remaining stack to continue but he made the call.

The river was the {q-Clubs} and no help to his opponent.
