Over an open from under-the gun to 6,000, Justin Saliba three-bet to 16,000 from one seat to the left of the opener. The small blind went all in for 29,000. The under-the gun player folded and Saliba snap-called.

Justin Saliba: {k-Hearts}{k-Spades}

The board ran out {j-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}{j-Spades}{4-Diamonds} and Saliba's kings held up to scoop the pot.

Gavin Eliminates Romero

Level 11 : 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante
James Romero and Lexy Gavin
James Romero and Lexy Gavin

PokerCoaching.com coach Lexy Gavin recently got a new tablemate to her right in the form of fellow site coach James Romero.

Their time together at the table was short-lived however as Gavin busted Romero in a blind versus blind battle preflop.

According to Gavin, Romero shoved his short stack from the small blind with {10-}{5-} into Gavin's big blind. She called with {10-Spades}{9-Spades} and flopped a {9-} to eliminate her PokerCoaching colleague.

Gavin currently sits with a healthy 67,000 while Romero now has time today to make some quality coaching content for the site if he so chooses.

Matt Affleck Quadruples Up, Thanks To The Big Blind

Level 10 : 800/1,600, 1,600 ante
Matt Affleck
Matt Affleck

Scott Baumstein raised to 3,400 under the-gun which was called by the player to his direct left. Matt Affleck went all in for 2,900 and the big blind called as well.

The runout of {a-Clubs}{5-Clubs}{4-Clubs}{3-Clubs}{7-Clubs} was checked to the river, where the big blind bet 16,000 into the side pot of 1,500. Baumstein went into the tank for roughly a minute and eventually came to a fold. The early position player folded as well.

The big blind showed {k-Diamonds}{10-Spades} for the flush on the board, but it was no good against Afflecks' {a-Spades}{8-Clubs} for the better than the board flush. Baumstein shook his head saying he folded the best hand and Affleck quadrupled up by winning the main.

Short Day for Hellmuth

Level 10 : 800/1,600, 1,600 ante
Phil Hellmuth
Phil Hellmuth

Phil Hellmuth was among those to maximum late-reg the tournament, entering at 600/1200 blinds.

With 12,000 left in his stack, Hellmuth limped on the button, and the big blind checked.

The dealer spread a flop of {3-Clubs}{j-Spades}{6-Spades} and the big blind checked to Hellmuth who bet 2,000. The big blind check-raised all-in and "The Poker Brat" happily shoved his chips forward in Hellmuthian fashion.

Phil Hellmuth: {j-Hearts}{9-Clubs}
Big blind opponent: {q-Spades}{8-Spades}

Hellmuth was ahead with top pair, but needed to fade his opponent's flush draw.

The sweat didn't last long as the {k-Spades} fell on the turn, making his opponent's flush and ending Hellmuth's day.
