Level 15 : 3,000/5,000, 5,000 ante
Kenny Hallaert
Kenny Hallaert

Kenny Hallaert, who had a healthy stack not long ago, was spotted getting up from his chair and heading to payouts.

Kevin Eyster was the one collecting the rest of his chips as the board showed {q-}{10-}{7-}{k-}{q-}.

Eyster's winning hand of {a-}{q-}{10-}{6-} was showing and Hallaert's was discarded as his tournament was over. Meanwhile, Eyster moves into the top tier of chip counts.

Eberle Cracks Aces

Level 15 : 3,000/5,000, 5,000 ante

Benedikt Eberle raised in early position to 12,000 and Corey Hochman three-bet the button to 44,000. The blinds folded quickly and Eberle made the call.

On the {q-Clubs}{j-Hearts}{3-Clubs} flop Eberle checked and Hochman put in enough chips to cover Eberle's 15,000 that he had left, which he called.

Benedikt Eberle: {7-Spades}{7-Clubs}{5-Clubs}{4-Spades}
Corey Hochman: {a-Clubs}{a-Spades}{6-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds}

Hochman was still ahead with his pair of aces and the {4-Hearts} on the turn gave Eberle more outs to go with his flush draw. The river was the {9-Clubs}, bringing in the flush and Eberle cracked Hochman's aces.

Jerod Smith
Jerod Smith

Action was picked up on the river as the board read {3-Hearts}{4-Hearts}{10-Spades}{8-Hearts}{2-Clubs}. Jerod Smith was facing an all in shove from his opponent into a pot of about 100,000.

Smith thought for a while and eventually called and tabled the {k-Spades}{k-Clubs}{8-Clubs}{7-Clubs} which was the winner as his opponent's bluff was turned over by the dealer and Smith took in the big pot as his table complimented him on the call.
