Lybaert Chips Up

Level 2 : 0/0, 200 ante

In a loaded pot of more than 25,000, the board showed {9-Diamonds}{9-Clubs}{7-Spades}{10-Hearts}{q-Hearts}. Bart Lybaert splashed in his five T-5,000 chips with few chips behind. That had Charles Sinn covered and no call followed as the large pot was shipped to the Belgian.

No longer featured on the table is Denys Chufarin and Erik Seidel was moved to balance the field, as the table had been four-handed prior.

Kong Loses a Stack to Chidwick

Level 2 : 0/0, 200 ante

The cards were already flipped over and a setup hand saw Seongsu Kong at risk against Stephen Chidwick. On a flop of {k-Hearts}{j-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}, Kong had the second nuts with {q-Hearts}{9-Clubs} but Chidwick had the best of it holding {a-Clubs}{q-Diamonds}. Kong shouted for an ace but his wish wasn't granted on the {8-Diamonds} turn and {10-Spades} river runout.

Chidwick's stack of around 29,000 had Kong covered and the South Korean redeemed his first add-on.

Kornuth Looks Through Sammartino's Semi-Bluff

Level 2 : 0/0, 200 ante
Dario Sammartino
Dario Sammartino

Dario Sammartino made it 7,500 to go on the {k-Spades}{q-Hearts}{7-Diamonds}{7-Spades} turn and was called by Chance Kornuth. The Italian then used one time bank extension on the {9-Spades} river and moved all-in. Kornuth also used one time bank card and made the call.

Sammartino rolled over the {q-Diamonds}{10-Clubs} and Kornuth had that beat with the {k-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}, grinned and said "I knew what you were doing." The stacks were counted and Kornuth's 35,800 had Sammartino covered by 200 chips, triggering the automated add-on.

"You guys know that a flush beats a full house, yeah?" Chris Brewer inquired.

Knockout for Ko; Iadisernia Re-Enters

Level 2 : 0/0, 200 ante

Young Ko raised to 2,500 and then called the shove of Giuseppe Iadisernia for 7,900 total.

Giuseppe Iadisernia: {q-Hearts}{q-Diamonds}
Young Ko: {j-Spades}{10-Spades}

The suited jack-ten got there on the {a-Hearts}{j-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}{7-Clubs}{j-Clubs} board as Ko made a full house. A few minutes later, Iadisernia was spotted back in the field and became the first player to re-enter.
