A Four-Way and a Three-Way All-In

Level 8 : 0/0, 1,000 ante
Cary Katz
Cary Katz

As the madness in the last level carries on, table 437 featured a four-way and a three-way all-in in quick succession.

Cary Katz: {8-Spades}{7-Spades}
Zachary Milchman: {j-Spades}{j-Hearts}
Dan Zack: {k-Hearts}{q-Hearts}
Young Ko: {k-Clubs}{k-Diamonds}

The board came {k-Spades}{10-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}{6-Clubs}{10-Hearts} and Ko swept it all with kings full of tens. Zack and Katz had an add-on to redeem while Milchman was eliminated.

Up next, Ryan Laplante was all-in for 16,600 and Katz invested his final bullet, once again getting called by Ko.

Ryan Laplante: {q-Clubs}{j-Hearts}
Cary Katz: {8-Hearts}{7-Hearts}
Young Ko: {a-Diamonds}{k-Clubs}

This time, it was Laplante who tripled on the {9-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}{10-Spades}{10-Hearts}{k-Diamonds} board as Katz was eliminated by Ko in the small side pot.

Negreanu Loses all the Flips

Level 8 : 0/0, 1,000 ante
Daniel Negreanu
Daniel Negreanu

Daniel Negreanu lost his second stack with {a-Hearts}{8-Hearts} against {k-Clubs}{10-Spades} when the board ran out {k-Spades}{q-Hearts}{9-Spades}{j-Hearts}{7-Diamonds}.

He then got it in with the {k-Spades}{10-Diamonds} against Dustin Dirksen with the {k-Clubs}{j-Hearts}. Commentating for his vlog, he said "we need a ten." He spiked two of them on the {j-Diamonds}{10-Spades}{10-Clubs} flop.

"Now we need to avoid a jack," he continued and he did that on the {8-Hearts} turn. However, the {j-Clubs} followed on the river and Dirksen improved to jacks full of tens.

Negreanu will likely re-enter soon again.

Negreanu Loses a Fair Fight

Level 8 : 0/0, 1,000 ante

Ben Yu got it in for 16,000 and was looked up by Shota Nakanishi, who then also called the shove of Daniel Negreanu for little more.

Ben Yu: {a-Clubs}{j-Diamonds}
Daniel Negreanu: {k-Hearts}{q-Spades}
Shota Nakanishi: {10-Spades}{9-Clubs}

Negreanu recorded the action for his vlog and immediately said "okay, that's the first flip and it's a fair fight."

The best hand preflop held thanks to the {10-Hearts}{7-Clubs}{6-Clubs}{j-Clubs}{7-Hearts} board as Negreanu redeemed an add-on chip.

A Double for van Krevelen

Level 8 : 0/0, 1,000 ante

Dario Sammartino folded to a large bet by Stephen Chidwick on the {a-Hearts}{k-Clubs}{8-Clubs}{k-Hearts}{6-Clubs} board and then jammed over the top of a shove by table short stack Rene van Krevelen one hand later,

Rene van Krevelen: {k-Diamonds}{j-Clubs}
Dario Sammartino: {a-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}

The Dutchman got there thanks to the {k-Hearts}{9-Hearts}{8-Clubs}{7-Clubs}{9-Clubs} board as Sammartino lost another chunk of his stack.

Nakanishi Scores a Double

Level 8 : 0/0, 1,000 ante

Shota Nakanishi got his stack of 50,800 in before the flop with the {a-Spades}{a-Diamonds} and Dustin Dirksen looked him up with the {a-Clubs}{q-Diamonds}. The board ran out {k-Clubs}{9-Hearts}{8-Hearts}{6-Spades}{6-Diamonds} and the aces held for Nakanishi to double. However, Dirksen then doubled the next hand.

Daniel Negreanu joined the action on the same table right after that hand had concluded.

Seidel Chops With Reixach

Level 7 : 0/0, 800 ante

Erik Seidel jammed his short stack with the {k-Spades}{9-Spades} and was looked up by Sergi Reixach with the {k-Hearts}{j-Diamonds}. The board came {a-Hearts}{a-Clubs}{7-Clubs}{q-Diamonds}{k-Diamonds} and they chopped it up as the kicker didn't play any decisive role.

Doubles for Laplante and Davies

Level 7 : 0/0, 800 ante
Seth Davies
Seth Davies

Ryan Laplante entered late and got the last 16,000 in with the {j-Clubs}{9-Spades}. Zachary Milchman called that with the {a-Diamonds}{k-Clubs} but Laplante had the best of it on a board of {j-Spades}{10-Spades}{7-Spades}{10-Hearts}{8-Clubs}.

Seth Davies then got the last 45,500 in against Chris Brewer to create the following showdown.

Seth Davies: {a-Diamonds}{a-Hearts}
Chris Brewer: {q-Clubs}{10-Clubs}

It was not without a sweat throughout the {k-Clubs}{10-Spades}{9-Spades}{8-Clubs}{6-Diamonds} board but the aces held for Davies to double.

A Hand Without an All-In Showdown

Level 7 : 0/0, 800 ante

Seth Davies limped in and Chris Brewer raised it up to 6,500 on the button for Davies to call. The {a-Hearts}{10-Hearts}{10-Clubs} flop was checked by Davies and Brewer's bet of 5,000 was called by Davies. After the {7-Spades} turn, Davies checked once more and Brewer's bet of 15,000 forced a fold.
