Vieira Wins One; Yu Joins Late

Level 7 : 0/0, 800 ante

On the river of a board {10-Diamonds}{9-Spades}{7-Hearts}{10-Spades}{8-Diamonds}, Thomas Kysar check-called for 15,000 when facing a bet worth Joao Vieira. The latter tabled the {a-Diamonds}{j-Clubs} for a straight and that won the pot, as Kysar only had the {a-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}.

Right after the hand the dealer high-carded all seats as Ben Yu entered the field and this required a new table to open with 25 players in the mix.

Sergi Reixach paid off the all-in of Erik Seidel when the latter made quads with {k-Clubs}{q-Clubs} on a board of {a-Clubs}{k-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}{k-Spades}{k-Hearts}.

"Welcome back," Moshe Gabay said in table chat.

"You are not welcome back," Reixach joked with a grin on his face.

Moments later, Jason Koon and Cary Katz got their chips in preflop with Katz at risk for the last 24,200.

Cary Katz: {a-Spades}{a-Diamonds}
Jason Koon: {k-Spades}{k-Hearts}

The {a-Hearts}{a-Clubs}{9-Spades}{8-Hearts}{7-Spades} board gave Katz quads against Koon for the second time today.

Eric Kurtzman lost the remainder of his stack and departed on his second entry as he had no further add-on chips behind. Erik Seidel was also eliminated and re-entered shortly after.

Last but not least, Shota Nakanishi got his first stack in with the {j-Clubs}{10-Clubs} before the flop. Thomas Kysar looked him up with the {k-Spades}{j-Hearts} and remained ahead throughout the {a-Clubs}{q-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}{6-Hearts}{8-Spades} board as Nakanishi had to redeem an add-on chip.

Peter Jetten was at risk for 23,300 and Thomas Kysar called. Stephen Chidwick then pushed all-in with a larger stack and Kysar tank-called for 128,300 total.

Peter Jetten: {k-Hearts}{10-Hearts}
Thomas Kysar: {a-Hearts}{k-Spades}
Stephen Chidwick: {q-Diamonds}{q-Clubs}

Thanks to a board of {7-Spades}{7-Hearts}{6-Hearts}{a-Diamonds}{k-Clubs}, Kysar prevailed to knock out Jetten on the second entry. Chidwick was knocked down below the full starting stack and the open seat was filled by Shota Nakanishi on the second entry for the tournament.

Triple Up for Dirksen

Level 7 : 0/0, 800 ante

Dustin Dirksen was at risk for a mere 12,800 and was called by Ye Shen on the button and William Devitt. The two active players checked the {k-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}{8-Clubs} flop and Devitt bet the {a-Clubs} turn for 9,000, which Shen called. Both checked the {9-Hearts} on the river and Dirksen was about to muck his {k-Clubs}{q-Hearts} for a pair of kings.

However, Devitt only had {q-Clubs}{9-Clubs} and Shen won the side pot with {j-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds} while Dirksen tripled up.
