Brewer Vaults Into the Lead

Level 5 : 0/0, 500 ante
Chris Brewer
Chris Brewer

With 31,500 in the middle and the turn showing {a-Hearts}{j-Hearts}{j-Clubs}{6-Hearts}, Gabe Patgorski moved all-in for the last 15,800. Brandon Delnano called and Chris Brewer than asked for a count on the all-in. Once it was determined, Brewer went over the top and Delnano sunk back into his seat with around 70,000 behind.

After using three time bank extensions, he eventually sigh-called.

Gabe Patgorski: {j-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}
Brandon Delnano: {a-Spades}{a-Diamonds}
Chris Brewer: {9-Hearts}{7-Hearts}

Delnano was already drawing dead with his aces full while Patgorski had one out to make quads. There was no miracle as the {6-Clubs} river shipped the large pot to Brewer. Patgorski redeemed his final add-on chip to start with a fresh 20,000 in chips.

Miracle Escape for Davies

Level 5 : 0/0, 500 ante
Seth Davies
Seth Davies

After facing the raise by Seth Davies, Dan Shak moved all-in with the far superior stack and Davies called it off for the 42,000 he had behind.

Seth Davies: {k-Diamonds}{q-Diamonds}
Dan Shak: {a-Hearts}{q-Hearts}

The {q-Clubs}{10-Hearts}{7-Hearts} flop left Davies in worse shape as Shak had the nut flush draw. After the {a-Clubs} turn, Shak made the top two pair but the {j-Spades} river gave Davies an unlikely straight for the double.

Sammartino Left With Crumbs

Level 6 : 0/0, 600 ante

The cards of Dario Sammartino were already in the muck on a board of {q-Spades}{j-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}{a-Diamonds}{k-Diamonds} and Chris Brewer confirmed that the Italian had {10-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds} for a flush. Ye Shen, however, had that beat with the {q-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds} for the nut flush and he doubled for 97,200.

Sammartino was left with very few chips and then got it in after the {k-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}{6-Clubs} flop, picking up a call by William Devitt.

Dario Sammartino: {k-Hearts}{7-Clubs}
William Devitt: {9-Hearts}{6-Diamonds}

The {q-Diamonds} turn gave Devitt an additional flush draw but his two pair were counterfeited on the {q-Hearts} river.

Dario Sammartino

Felipe Ramos was eliminated while Charles Sinn re-entered. Dario Sammartino and William Devitt then redeemed an add-on chip and got their stacks in before the flop.

Dario Sammartino: {a-Hearts}{q-Clubs}
William Devitt: {7-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}

Thanks to a board of {k-Hearts}{j-Diamonds}{7-Clubs}{k-Spades}{j-Clubs}, Sammartino counterfeited his table neighbour once more and he doubled for 20,000.

Jetten Loses a Stack to Chidwick

Level 6 : 0/0, 600 ante

Joao Vieira and Stephen Chidwick limped in. Peter Jetten then jammed for what appeared to be 14,400 with his first of three stacks after the re-entry. Vieira folded after brief consideration and Chidwick tossed in a chip, then silently rolled over his cards.

Peter Jetten: {q-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}
Stephen Chidwick: {a-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}

The {a-Hearts}{k-Spades}{7-Diamonds}{9-Clubs}{10-Spades} board gave Chidwick two pair and Jetten redeemed one add-on chip with another behind.

Level 6 : 0/0, 600 ante
Young Ko
Young Ko

On a flop of {q-Clubs}{j-Spades}{8-Spades}, Young Ko bet 10,000 and Cary Katz called. Chad Campbell then jammed for 19,000 and Ko reshoved. Katz tank-called for the 45,000 he had behind after his call.

Chad Campbell: {8-Hearts}{8-Clubs}
Cary Katz: {a-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}
Young Ko: {j-Clubs}{j-Hearts}

Ko locked it up on the {j-Diamonds} turn with quads to make the {10-Spades} river a formality.

The Chips Keep on Flying

Level 6 : 0/0, 600 ante

Gabe Patgorski got his stack of around 26,000 in with the {k-Hearts}{10-Spades} and Chris Brewer looked him up with the {q-Clubs}{q-Hearts}. The board came {a-Hearts}{j-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}{8-Hearts} and Patgorski was eliminated.

Soon after a three-way all-in emerged on the same table with William Devitt at risk for 12,100. Dario Sammartino also got his chips in and both were comfortably covered by Ye Shen.

William Devitt: {9-Clubs}{8-Clubs}
Dario Sammartino: {a-Hearts}{q-Diamonds}
Ye Shen: {a-Clubs}{k-Clubs}

The {j-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}{j-Hearts}{j-Spades} board gave Devitt a full house and he tripled up, while Sammartino was eliminated by Shen.
