Kornuth Regains the Lead

Level 14 : 0/0, 4,000 ante

A big pot was brewing between Chance Kornuth and Young Ko as they created a pot of 230,000 to the {a-Clubs}{q-Hearts}{j-Spades}{9-Hearts} turn. Kornuth had limp-called for 50,000 preflop, then check-called for 50,000 once more and checked his option for Ko to bet 150,000. What followed was the check-shove of Kornuth for 652,000 and Ko asked for a count.

He then tossed in the remaining two time-bank extensions and was deep in the tank. Eventually, the time ran out and Ko mucked his cards. "I was just too weak to call," he admitted as Kornuth sent his cards into the muck and collected the large pot.

"Maybe he had ace-jack of hearts," Dan Shak guessed. Ko immediately replied "that's impossible, I had the jack of hearts," and no further guesses happened thereafter.

Gabay Jams Into Ko and Vieira

Level 14 : 0/0, 4,000 ante

Thomas Kysar, Moshe Gabay and Young Ko all limped in. Joao Vieira then raised to 44,000 on the button to get called by Gabay and Ko. The {a-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}{8-Clubs} flop was checked and the {j-Hearts} fell on the turn. Gabay checked once more and Ko bet 50,000, which Vieira called.

The check-shove of Gabay followed and he earned two quick folds.

"Oh you sandbagger," Chance Kornuth grinned over to Gabay and then added "I thought you had something" to Ko, who replied "I had something ... on the flop."

More for Campbell and Kornuth

Level 14 : 0/0, 4,000 ante

Joao Vieira lost some further ground and had to fork over chips to Chad Campbell. Chance Kornuth then bet a multi-way limped pot on the {j-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}{7-Spades} flop for 16,000 and earned folds all around.

Last but not least, Thomas Kysar limped and so did Campbell. Kornuth raised to 56,000 and that won the pot uncontested.

"Thanks, I am not greedy," Kornuth grinned.

Joao Vieira: {a-Clubs}{j-Hearts}

Gabay Catches Campbell Bluffing

Level 14 : 0/0, 4,000 ante

On the tail end of a bigger pot on the {j-Diamonds}{j-Hearts}{7-Spades}{q-Diamonds}{8-Spades} river, Chad Campbell bet for the second street and made it 125,000 to go. Moshe Gabay called and Campbell tabled the {k-Spades}{10-Spades} for a missed open-ender, which Gabay had beat with {k-Hearts}{j-Hearts} for trips jacks.

Stephen Chidwick then raised to 30,000 and folded when Campbell jammed for 204,000.

Ko Above a Million

Level 14 : 0/0, 4,000 ante

Joao Vieira raised to 35,000 and was called by Chance Kornuth in the cutoff. Young Ko also filled up on the button and they headed three ways to the {q-Spades}{6-Hearts}{6-Diamonds} flop. Vieira and Kornuth checked for Ko to bet 33,000, and this time it was just Vieira who stuck around.

The {7-Clubs} fell on the turn and Vieira checked once more. Ko now bet 110,000 and that won the pot right there without resistance.
