Chen Takes Out Mateos; Table 451 Chip Counts

Level 18 : 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante

In a preflop all-in situation, Adrian Mateos held the advantage with {a-Clubs}{q-Diamonds} against the {a-Spades}{7-Spades} of Pete Chen.

The flop was a bombastic one as it came {7-Diamonds}{a-Diamonds}{k-Diamonds} to pair Chen and give him the lead. Mateos, however, picked up a flush draw to go with his queen as outs.

The Spanish star whiffed both the {2-Hearts} turn and {9-Spades} river and was sent packing.
