A massive four-way pot developed at table 512 with Peter Lynn raising in early position and getting three calls from Marc Booth in the cutoff, Jason Papastavrou on the button, and Colin Wickersheim in the small blind.

Wickersheim started by drawing one while the other three players drew two. Another round of bets went in with all four players seeing a second drawing round, and each player now drawing one.

Wickersheim checked, Lynn bet, Booth raised, Papastavrou and Wickersheim folded, and Lynn called, leaving a heads-up final round of draws.

"You Made a Mistake"

Level 23 : 20,000/40,000, 0 ante
Conrad Simpson
Conrad Simpson

Conrad Simpson, who has claimed throughout the past two days that he'd never played 2-7 Triple Draw before this tournament has held his own very well, and has recently put two-time bracelet winner David "Bakes" Baker into the danger zone with his chip stack.

First, Simpson raised from the small blind into Baker's big blind. Simpson drew one while Baker drew three.

Simpson bet, and was then surprised to see a raise from Baker, but he called.

Simpson drew one while Baker stood pat, then he check-called another bet from Baker.

Both players then patted the last round and checked.

Simpson showed {8-}{7-}{5-}{4-}{3-} and Baker mucked his hand.

In a hand shortly after, action was picked up in a drawing round with Simpson drawing one and Baker patting his hand.

"You made a mistake, you forgot to ask for cards", said Simpson as he checked to Baker, who bet.

Simpson then put in a check-raise, and after a brief moment of pause, Baker mucked his hand.
