Cha Eliminated by Rice

Level 7 : 2,000/4,000, 0 ante
PJ Cha
PJ Cha

Big O Hi-Lo

On the turn of a board {9-Spades}{6-Clubs}{2-Spades}{k-Hearts}, the short stack of Pj Cha went into the middle and Jack Rice looked him up.

Pj Cha: {j-Spades}{9-Diamonds}{8-Spades}{2-Clubs}{2-Diamonds}
Jack Rice: {k-Spades}{10-Diamonds}{9-Hearts}{8-Hearts}{6-Spades}

The {10-Spades} on the river gave Rice the superior flush and there was no low in play.

It also appears that Dan Shak has been eliminated as well.

Nathan Gamble: {x-}{x-} / {7-Spades}{a-Diamonds}{2-Hearts}{q-Spades}

John Racener folded on fifth street while Jerry Wong called a bet by Nathan Gamble with kings showing. Gamble then also bet sixth and Wong sent his cards into the muck.

Friedman's Hot Run Continues

Level 7 : 2,000/4,000, 0 ante

Limit 2-7 Triple Draw

Adam Friedman was spotted raking in yet another pot. He had tabled a wheel and Brett Richey quickly sent his cards into the muck, while the winner of the last two editions of this very event continues to climb on the leaderboard.

Vitch Doubles His Short Stack

Level 7 : 2,000/4,000, 0 ante

Badugi

Ryan Hughes was all-in with a short stack and called by Chris Vitch. Hughes took one each on the first two draws and then patted while Vitch took two on each of the draws.

"You are dead anyways," Hughes joked and rolled over the {7-Diamonds}{4-Hearts}{3-Clubs}{a-Spades}. Vitch exposed his {3-Spades}{2-Clubs} and then spiked the {a-Diamonds}, which indeed gave him some outs. "I just want a red," he grinned but it was just the {j-Clubs} to keep Hughes in contention.

Ian O'Hara
Ian O'Hara

No-Limit Hold'em

Ian O'Hara started the hand with around 25,000 and got it in before the flop with the {a-Hearts}{8-Hearts}. Daniel Negreanu had that dominated with {a-Diamonds}{j-Spades} and prevailed despite a small sweat on the {7-Hearts}{6-Diamonds}{4-Spades}{k-Spades}{q-Clubs} board.

Badugi

Chad Eveslage raised and then called the shove of Ben Lamb for a mere 4,800.

Both discarded two cards each on the first draw, followed by one each on the second and the final draw.

Eveslage tabled the {4-Diamonds}/{3-Spades}{2-Diamonds}{a-Clubs} for a three card trey while Lamb briefly showed an inferior three-card combo before heading out of the tournament area.

Crivello and Bronshtein Chop

Level 6 : 1,500/3,000, 0 ante

Badeucey

On the tail end of a Badeucey all-in showdown between [Removed:508] and Yuval Bronshtein, the former tabled the {9-Diamonds}{7-Clubs}{6-Hearts}{2-Diamonds}/{6-Spades} for a Nine-Dugi but a pair of sixes. Yuval Bronshtein had no Badugi but chopped it with the {7-}{5-}{3-}{2-}{2-} for a pair of deuces.

Defending champion Adam Friedman sits on an above-average stack on the same table after he had previously doubled through Michael Saltzburg.
