Benny Glaser Eliminated on the Bubble

Level 15 : 10,000/20,000, 0 ante
Benny Glaser
Benny Glaser

No-Limit Hold'em

Daniel Negreanu raised the button and Benny Glaser stuck his last few chips in from the big blind.

Benny Glaser: {k-Hearts}{6-Diamonds}
Daniel Negreanu: {6-Spades}{5-Diamonds}

The board ran out {a-Clubs}{j-Spades}{3-Clubs}{8-Hearts}{10-Diamonds} and Glaser doubled.

One hand later, Glaser open-shoved the small blind for 37,000 and Adam Friedman called after looking at just one card.

"I am not even looking at the other card."

"I hope it's a king," Glaser said and the small talk continued for a bit. In the meanwhile, Scott Seiver and Matt Glantz tangled in a long pot that brought no showdown and only then the cards were flipped over.

Benny Glaser: {a-Spades}{2-Hearts}
Adam Friedman: {k-Spades}{6-Diamonds}

The {k-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}{10-Hearts} flop improved Friedman and he held onto the lead on the {6-Clubs} turn and {j-Hearts} river to burst the money bubble.

Glaser on the Ropes

Level 15 : 10,000/20,000, 0 ante

Stud Hi-Lo

Benny Glaser: {8-Diamonds}{6-Clubs} / {8-Spades}{4-Hearts}{3-Clubs}{a-Clubs} / {5-Hearts}
Adam Friedman: {k-Spades}{6-Diamonds}{6-Spades}{a-Diamonds}{2-Spades}{j-Hearts} / {j-Diamonds}

Benny Glaser was rivered by Adam Friedman in the previous hand and was then at risk for 21,000 on third street. Friedman peeled jacks up on seventh while Glaser had the low and chopped it for half the pot.

Friedman Scoops Negreanu

Level 15 : 10,000/20,000, 0 ante

Stud Hi-Lo

Adam Friedman: {x-}{x-} / {2-Diamonds}{6-Clubs}{8-Hearts}{k-Clubs} / {x-}
Daniel Negreanu: {x-}{x-} / {j-Spades}{4-Clubs}{7-Spades}{3-Clubs} / {x-}

Four ways to four street, Adam Friedman bet and Daniel Negreanu called while Chip Jett and Benny Glaser folded. Negreanu check-called fifth and both then checked sixth. Friedman bet seventh to earn a call and immediately said "It's either aces up or a seven".

Friedman tabled the {a-Diamonds}{a-Hearts}{8-Spades} for aces up as he sweated the final card, which happened to pair the eight. Negreanu flipped over three black cards and jokingly announced a flush. However, it was two spades and one club for a four-card flush only.

Vieira Jams Into Kelsall

Level 15 : 10,000/20,000, 0 ante

Pot-Limit Omaha

Picking up the action on the {a-Diamonds}{j-Clubs}{7-Hearts}{6-Hearts} turn, Joao Vieira bet the pot for 71,000 out of the small blind. Andrew Kelsall reluctantly called and Vieira then potted the {5-Clubs} river after some consideration. It was 213,000 to go and that sent Kelsall into the tank.

He eventually mentioned "give me one minute and then call the clock if you want" in chat before adding "I should have jammed the turn." Kelsall ended up folding and Vieira claimed the pot.

Hartmann Eliminated by Miller

Badeucey

Ryan Miller had previously complained about coming up short in the most unlucky hand of the WSOP and then took on Tony Hartmann, who was all-in for just 38,000.

On the second draw, Miller patted and Hartmann took two cards. Miller patted again and Hartmann glanced at his cards, then opted to pat as well. "I have a seven seven," Miller announced and showed the {7-Diamonds}{6-Spades}{4-Clubs}{3-Hearts} / {2-Spades} for a Seven-Dugi and a seven-six low.

Hartmann only had the {9-Diamonds}{7-Hearts}{4-Spades}{2-Clubs} / {5-Clubs} for a Nine-Dugi and a nine-seven low to bust two spots away from the money.
