Friedman and Fuchs Chop a Three-Way Pot

Level 15 : 10,000/20,000, 0 ante

Stud Hi-Lo

Adam Friedman: {x-}{x-} / {8-Clubs}{4-Hearts}{k-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds} / {x-}
Carol Fuchs: {x-}{x-} / {5-Hearts}{q-Spades}{4-Spades}{q-Hearts} / {x-}
Benny Glaser: {x-}{x-} / {5-Clubs}{j-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}{q-Clubs} / {x-}

Adam Friedman bet sixth street to get called by Carol Fuchs and Benny Glaser. Friedman bet seventh, Carol Fuchs raised and Glaser tank-folded. Friedman made it three bets and he then called the four bets of Fuchs.

"I have a wheel," Fuchs announced and tabled the {3-Clubs}{2-Spades}{a-Hearts}. Friedman had the {7-Hearts}{5-Diamonds}{2-Hearts} for an eight-high straight and they chopped it.

Glantz Back on Track

Level 15 : 10,000/20,000, 0 ante

Badeucey

Matt Glantz scored a first double when his {5-Spades}{3-Clubs}{2-Diamonds} / {8-Spades}{7-Clubs} for a three card five and eight-seven scooped it all against Jake Schwartz. He then also doubled through Tony Hartmann before giving up a pot to Scott Seiver.

Daniel Negreanu
Daniel Negreanu

Stud Hi-Lo

Daniel Negreanu: {x-}{x-}/{8-Spades}{7-Diamonds}{6-Hearts}{9-Diamonds}/{x-}
Adam Friedman: {x-}{x-}/{7-Clubs}{3-Hearts}{10-Spades}{8-Diamonds}/{x-}

The action was picked up with Adam Friedman having tossed in a raise and Negreanu tossed in a third bet, which eliminated the others after Friedman called. That sent Negreanu and Friedman heads-up to sixth street.

Daniel Negreanu check-called sixth street against Friedman.

Seventh street was pitched face down to each player and this time Negreanu led out and Friedman tank-folded, and Negreanu was awarded the pot.

Another Two Knockouts in a Row for Matusow

Level 15 : 10,000/20,000, 0 ante
Ismael Bojang
Ismael Bojang

No-Limit Hold'em

Ismael Bojang got his chips in preflop with the {10-Hearts}{10-Spades} and was called by Mike Matusow with the {a-Spades}{j-Spades}. The board ran out {q-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}{8-Spades}{a-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds} and Matusow spiked the superior two pair on the turn.

In the very next hand, Nacho Barbero jammed for just 29,000 from under the gun and Matusow flat-called out of the small blind.

Nacho Barbero: {k-Spades}{q-Hearts}
Mike Matusow: {a-Hearts}{5-Hearts}

No paint appeared on the {9-Spades}{8-Hearts}{2-Hearts}{5-Diamonds}{9-Clubs} board and Matusow earned the second back-to-back knockouts of the day.

No-Limit 2-7 Single Draw

The action folded to Scott Seiver in the small blind and he pushed all-in. Yuval Bronshtein called all-in from the big blind and patted while Seiver took one. Bronshtein tabled the {9-}{8-}{7-}{3-}{2-} and Seiver sweated a {9-}{8-}{5-}{2-}. He peeled the {6-} as the final card and sent Bronshtein to the rail.

Barbero Doubles Through Schwartz

Level 15 : 10,000/20,000, 0 ante

Pot-Limit Omaha

Nacho Barbero was at risk for 31,000 against Jake Schwartz and tabled the {a-Spades}{k-Spades}{q-Hearts}{q-Diamonds}. Schwartz had a double-suited {k-Clubs}{10-Spades}{8-Spades}{6-Clubs} but failed to deal the final blow on a board of {k-Diamonds}{q-Spades}{3-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}{7-Clubs}.

Phil Hellmuth then limped soon after and Barbero potted to force a fold as Hellmuth flashed {q-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}{9-Diamonds}{9-Hearts}.

Phil Hellmuth

Pot Limit Omaha

The action was picked up on a board of {q-Hearts}{4-Spades}{j-Clubs}{2-Clubs} and Phil Hellmuth had moved all-in for his remaining 253,000 chips. Nacho Barbero tanked for a while before he called and was shown the bad news when Hellmuth tabled {q-Spades}{q-Clubs}{9-Spades}{5-Clubs} for top set queens versus the {j-Spades}{j-Hearts}{10-Hearts}{3-Spades} and second set for Barbero.

The river was a meaningless {8-Clubs} and Hellmuth was awarded the pot.

Barbero Loses Some to Gorodinsky

Level 15 : 10,000/20,000, 0 ante

Pot-Limit Omaha

Nacho Barbero raised to 15,000 and was called by Mike Gorodinsky in the small blind and Phil Hellmuth in the big blind. The flop brought {a-Clubs}{10-Hearts}{5-Spades} and the action checked to Barbero, who bet 30,000. Gorodinsky called and Hellmuth folded with the words "what a fuckin hand." They checked the {7-Hearts} turn and {3-Diamonds} river for Gorodinsky to claim the pot with the {a-Spades}{10-Clubs}{9-Clubs}{8-Spades} for the top two pair.
