Ruben Survives Again

Level 29

Bradley Ruben's stack shrunk to under 300,000 again recently but managed to find another double-up to survive.

The chips went in on third street when Ruben raised all-in over Yuri Dzivielevski's completion, and the Brazillian star called.

Both players actually had a king in the hole, but by the time each player had seven cards, Ruben had survived with {8-}{7-}{5-}{4-}{a-} versus Dzivielevski's {8-}{7-}{6-}{5-}{3-}.

Charles Sinn: {x-}{x-}/{6-}{6-}{10-}{7-}/{x-}

Baker Doubles Twice

Level 29
David "ODB" Baker
David "ODB" Baker

David "ODB" Baker got the last of his chips in on fourth street versus Charles Sinn.

By seventh street, their boards read:

David "ODB" Baker: {a-}{7-}/{9-}{6-}{k-}{5-}/{x-}
Charles Sinn: {a-}{4-}/{9-}{j-}{2-}{5-}/{x-}

Sinn had taken the lead with a made nine-perfect and didn't improve on seventh, while Baker needed help. He squeezed a three-across, leaving himself drawing thin to survive.

The card turned out to be a glorious {8-}, giving him {8-}{7-}{6-}{5-}{a-} for the winner.

Shortly after, Baker doubled up again through Matt Grapenthien and is now much healthier in chips than he was not long ago.
