"King or queen," Filippi said as McEvoy was dealt the {q-Hearts}. "Checks for everybody," he continued after pairing his eight.

"King," he now called for, and McEvoy was dealt the {k-Spades}. Filippi, with the {a-Spades}, put out a bet and McEvoy folded.
