Paur Doubles Through Ruben

Level 12 : 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante

Taylor Paur raised from under the gun and was only looked up by Bradley Ruben as the duo got it in after the {q-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds} flop with Paur at risk for a mere 13,500.

Taylor Paur: {k-Spades}{q-Clubs}{j-Diamonds}{10-Spades}
Bradley Ruben: {a-Clubs}{k-Diamonds}{j-Clubs}{j-Spades}

The {4-Clubs} turn and {5-Diamonds} river brought no change and Paur doubled his short stack.

Gorodinsky Eliminates Taylor

Level 12 : 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante

After registering to begin Day two, Esther Taylor three-bet her last 19,500 over a preflop raise from Mike Gorodinsky. Gorodinsky called, and both players turned their hands up.

Esther Taylor: {q-Spades}{j-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}
Mike Gorodinsky: {a-Hearts}{j-Spades}{8-Diamonds}{7-Spades}

Taylor never caught up on the {k-Clubs}{5-Hearts}{3-Clubs}{k-Spades}{2-Spades} runout, bringing an early end to her day.

Maksimov Scores a Double

Level 12 : 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante

Artem Maksimov was already all-in and awaiting his fate and Jarod Minghini then isolated. The cards were exposed on the {j-Clubs}{6-Clubs}{3-Spades}{8-Diamonds} turn as Maksimov tabled {j-Diamonds}{9-Hearts}{7-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds} while Minghini flipped over the {k-Hearts}{k-Clubs}{8-Clubs}{5-Clubs} for a pair of kings and flush draw.

The {5-Diamonds} river gave Maksimov a straight and he doubled.

Level 11 : 1,000/2,500, 2,500 ante

Toby Lewis raised from early position, and Robert Campbell defended in the big blind. Lewis then bet the flop of {k-Clubs}{j-Diamonds}{2-Hearts} and Campbell called, before both players checked the {10-Diamonds} turn. Ullmann Eliminated by Younes

Level 11 : 1,000/2,500, 2,500 ante

Nino Ullmann raised it up to 10,000 and was called by Nader Younes in the big blind. On a flop of {7-Clubs}{5-Clubs}{4-Hearts}, Younes check-called the shove of Ullmann for the last 17,500.

Nino Ullmann: {k-Diamonds}{k-Spades}{6-Spades}{4-Spades}
Nader Younes: {j-Clubs}{10-Spades}{7-Hearts}{6-Clubs}

The {4-Clubs} turn improved Younes to a flush and the {2-Spades} river was a formality.

Also no longer in contention are Matthew Wantman and Mark Birdsall.

Chidwick Doubles Through Shack-Harris

Level 11 : 1,000/2,500, 2,500 ante

Stephen Chidwick min-raised to 5,000 off his less than 20,000 chip stack. He got a call from Brandon Shack-Harris in the big blind.

On the flop of {8-Diamonds}{q-Spades}{6-Diamonds}, Shack-Harris bet enough to put Chidwick all-in, and he called.

Stephen Chidwick: {q-Clubs}{q-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}
Brandon Shack-Harris: {k-Hearts}{j-Clubs}{10-Spades}{9-Hearts}

Chidwick's top set held versus Shack-Harris' straight draws and the man who sits seventh on the all-time tournament money list boosted his stack closer to its starting point.

Sandrock Forces a Fold

Level 11 : 1,000/2,500, 2,500 ante

Chris Sandrock hasn't been shying away from action at his tough table.

After dropping a couple of small pots, he got into a potentially big one against Lithuanian star Dominykas Karmazinas.

On a turn board reading {4-Spades}{8-Spades}{7-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}, Karmazinas bet 25,000 and Sandrock raised Karmazinas all-in for his last 80,000.

After some deliberation, Karmazinas folded to preserve his stack.
