Alehno Drops One in Blind Versus Blind

Level 13 : 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante

Action on the table quickly folded around to Andrey Alehno who raised all in from the small blind the big blind player called off their 20,000 stack.

Opponent: {a-Diamonds}{k-Hearts}
Andrey Alehno: {k-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds}

Alehno was way behind until the {6-Hearts}{4-Spades}{3-Spades} flop hit the felt pairing his four.

The {q-Clubs} turn didn't change a thing and the {10-Hearts} river eliminated Alehno's opponent from the tournament.

Phil Hellmuth limped-in from early position and watched the small blind player do the same while the big blind player checked their option.

The {j-Hearts}{k-Clubs}{k-Spades} flop was checked to the big blind player who fired out 3,000 and only Hellmuth called to see the {9-Diamonds} fall on the turn.

Both players checked and the dealer completed the board with the {k-Hearts} on the river. Action was checked to Hellmuth who fired out 5,100 and his opponent called but quickly folded after Hellmuth tabled {q-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds}.
