Action was picked up on the turn with three players vying for the pot. The board read {2-Spades}{j-Clubs}{10-Clubs}{a-Hearts}. The big blind bet 7,000, the under the gun player called and Gershon Distenfeld check-raised to 15,500 from the small blind. The big blind folded and the under the gun player called it.

The river came the {9-Diamonds}. Distenfeld led out with a shove for the remainder of his opponent's stack which was about 27,000. His opponent stewed it over and stood up before calling while pushing his chips to the middle as if knowing he was beaten.

Distenfeld tabled the {a-Clubs}{9-Clubs} for two-pair. His opponent showed the {a-Diamonds} as he was left without chips and Distenfeld added more to his large stack.

The under-the-gun player raised and found one caller before Lee Markholt three-bet all in for 17,700 from the cutoff.

Action folded back to the initial raiser who came over the top for 22,300 and got isolation.

Lee Markholt: {a-Spades}{q-Hearts}
Opponent: {a-Diamonds}{k-Spades}

Markholt was behind with kicker issues and the {8-Diamonds}{3-Spades}{j-Hearts} flop didn't change a thing.

The {3-Clubs} paired the board on the turn bringing chop possibilities but the {k-Diamonds} completed the board on the river and ended his tournament.

Aizenberg Bets First and Wins

Level 9 : 600/1,200, 1,200 ante

A player from middle position raised to 2,500, Diego Aizenberg called from the small blind and the big blind player defended.

The {9-Spades}{7-Diamonds}{5-Hearts}{3-Spades} board was checked down to the {9-Clubs} river. Aizenberg led out for 3,500 and the bet was good enough to win the pot as both his opponents folded.
