Carroll Takes it on the Turn

Level 10 : 800/1,600, 1,600 ante

In a four-way limped pot the flop came {q-Diamonds}{j-Clubs}{6-Clubs}, both the blinds checked to the early position limper who put in a bet of 3,000 and only Jim Carroll called.

On the {10-Clubs} turn, Carroll's opponent checked and he put in a bet of 7,000 which was good enough to take down the pot.

Del Toro Rivers Straight Flush; Eliminates Player With Quads

Level 10 : 800/1,600, 1,600 ante

Michael Del Toro opened to 4,200 from the cutoff and was called by the player on the button and the player in the small blind.

The flop came {a-Hearts}{q-Diamonds}{9-Hearts} and it was checked to the player on the button, who made a bet. The small blind and Del Toro both called.

The turn brought the {j-Diamonds} and the player in the small blind shoved for his remaining stack. Del Toro called and the button folded.

Michael Del Toro: {k-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}
Small blind: {9-Spades}{9-Clubs}

The river brought the {9-Diamonds}, which simultaneously improved both players' hands, but kept Del Toro best with a straight flush against his opponent's quad nines and Del Toro scored the knockout.

Wilson Gets Much Needed Aces

Level 11 : 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante

Brad Wilson raised to 6,000 and a player three-bet to 12,000. The action folded back around to Wilson who jammed for 18,500 total and the opponent called.

Brad Wilson: {a-Hearts}{a-Diamonds}
Opponent: {a-Clubs}{k-Spades}

Wilson's pocket rockets were well ahead and the run out of {10-Diamonds}{10-Spades}{2-Spades}{9-Clubs}{2-Diamonds} was a safe one for him to get a much-needed double up.

Frakes Triples; Soni Misses Out on Double Knockout

Parmod Soni raised to 11,500 from early position before both blinds went all in, the small blind for 59,000 and big blind Steve Frakes for around 11,000. Soni folded to the small blind's raise after a brief tank.

Steve Frakes: {j-Diamonds}{j-Hearts}
Small Blind: {k-Spades}{k-Clubs}

The board ran out {8-Hearts}{10-Hearts}{9-Hearts}{7-Clubs}{8-Spades}, giving Frakes a straight and nearly a triple up. Soni said he folded {a-Hearts}{q-Hearts} and would've flopped the flush and knocked out both players if he had called.

"He's going to win the tournament," a tablemate said about Frakes after hitting the miracle with a short-stack.

Tumminelli Knocks One Out

Level 11 : 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante

A player raised from early position to 5,500 and Joe Tumminelli jammed his stack of 39,500 in the middle. The action folded around to the big blind who called off his remaining 21,500 and the original raiser folded.

Big Blind: {a-Hearts}{j-Clubs}
Joe Tumminelli: {q-Spades}{q-Diamonds}

The dealer fanned a flop of {j-Hearts}{9-Clubs}{7-Clubs}, pairing the big blind's jack. The {4-Hearts} on the turn and the {10-Diamonds} on the river were bricks though and Tumminelli eliminated his opponent.

Nut Flush for Sheldon

Level 11 : 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante

On the turn with the board reading {10-Spades}{9-Spades}{7-Spades}{7-Hearts}, there was over 50,000 in the pot and the player first to act shoved his remaining stack of roughly 35,000. Steve Sheldon snap-called as he turned over his hand.

All-In Player: {8-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}
Steve Sheldon: {a-Spades}{q-Spades}

Sheldon had flopped the nut flush against his opponent who flopped a straight and the dealer put the {3-Spades} on the river just as a formality.
