Nut Flush for Sheldon

Level 11 : 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante

On the turn with the board reading {10-Spades}{9-Spades}{7-Spades}{7-Hearts}, there was over 50,000 in the pot and the player first to act shoved his remaining stack of roughly 35,000. Steve Sheldon snap-called as he turned over his hand.

All-In Player: {8-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}
Steve Sheldon: {a-Spades}{q-Spades}

Sheldon had flopped the nut flush against his opponent who flopped a straight and the dealer put the {3-Spades} on the river just as a formality.

Big Stacks Near the End of the Night

Level 11 : 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante

Tumminelli Knocks One Out

Level 11 : 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante

A player raised from early position to 5,500 and Joe Tumminelli jammed his stack of 39,500 in the middle. The action folded around to the big blind who called off his remaining 21,500 and the original raiser folded.

Big Blind: {a-Hearts}{j-Clubs}
Joe Tumminelli: {q-Spades}{q-Diamonds}

The dealer fanned a flop of {j-Hearts}{9-Clubs}{7-Clubs}, pairing the big blind's jack. The {4-Hearts} on the turn and the {10-Diamonds} on the river were bricks though and Tumminelli eliminated his opponent.

Frakes Triples; Soni Misses Out on Double Knockout

Parmod Soni raised to 11,500 from early position before both blinds went all in, the small blind for 59,000 and big blind Steve Frakes for around 11,000. Soni folded to the small blind's raise after a brief tank.

Steve Frakes: {j-Diamonds}{j-Hearts}
Small Blind: {k-Spades}{k-Clubs}

The board ran out {8-Hearts}{10-Hearts}{9-Hearts}{7-Clubs}{8-Spades}, giving Frakes a straight and nearly a triple up. Soni said he folded {a-Hearts}{q-Hearts} and would've flopped the flush and knocked out both players if he had called.

"He's going to win the tournament," a tablemate said about Frakes after hitting the miracle with a short-stack.
