Wasnock, Lyons Tangle in Massive Pot

Level 15 : 3,000/5,000, 5,000 ante

Pat Rowe moved all in for around 70,000 and was called by Pat Lyons. Thomas Wasnock then moved all in over the top.

"Big hand right here. I have queens. I call," Lyons said as he slammed in the chips.

Wasnock turned over {a-Spades}{a-Clubs}, while Rowe had {9-Spades}{9-Hearts}.

"If I win this it's over," Lyons said as the flop came {8-Spades}{j-Clubs}{j-Hearts}. "One more face card," he asked the dealer.

The turn came {3-Hearts} and Wasnock hit an unnecessary {a-Hearts} on the river to double up through Lyons and eliminate Rowe.

Vangampleare Hits Miracle River

Level 15 : 3,000/5,000, 5,000 ante

Mark Vangampleare was down to his last 60,000 and found a perfect spot to get them in, holding {a-Hearts}{a-Diamonds} against the {j-Clubs}{j-Spades} of Ali Pabarja.

Vangampleare flopped a set on {a-Spades}{k-Hearts}{q-Clubs}, but Pabarja made a straight when the turn came {10-Diamonds}. Down to his last card with his tournament on the line, Vangampleare connected with the {10-Spades} river to make a full house and double up his short-stack.

Jim Roberts was in the small blind and bet around 25,000 on a flop of {2-Hearts}{8-Hearts}{a-Hearts}. His opponent in middle position raised to 75,000, and Roberts called.

Both players checked the {6-Hearts} turn, then Roberts led out for 75,000 on the {7-Hearts} river, putting five hearts on the board. His opponent angrily tossed {a-}{k-} into the muck as Roberts collected the pot to climb to 600,000.
