Somerville Hits a Set

Level 6

Limit Hold'em

Jason Somerville was up against two opponents after calling on a {j-Spades}{6-Spades}{5-Hearts} flop. Facing a bet and an all-in call on the {7-Hearts} turn, Somerville raised and was called. The {10-Hearts} river saw Somerville's final bet called before announcing "set" as he flipped over {7-Clubs}{7-Spades}. Both opponents mucked, as Somerville scored a knockout for the second straight hand.

Doyle Brunson

We haven't seen him yet, but according to Doyle Brunson he can't resist the lure of another WSOP.

Earlier this year he tweeted out that he would be playing "a few select tournaments" during the 2021 World Series of Poker.

Poker fans will surely be looking forward to potentially seeing the ten-time bracelet winner in action in some of the bigger buy-in Mixed Game events such as the $50,000 Poker Players Championship.

Razz at the Table of Death

Razz

With action picking up on fourth street in a three-way pot, Yueqi Zhu bet and got calls from Yuri Dzivielevski and Brandon Shack-Harris. The action repeated on fifth and sixth streets, with the players boards reading,

Yueqi Zhu: {x-}{x-}/{5-}{a-}{9-}{5-}
Yuri Dzivielevski: {x-}{x-}/{3-}{a-}{j-}{k-}
Brandon Shack-Harris: {x-}{x-}/{7-}{6-}{10-}{q-}

On seventh street, Zhu and Shack-Harris checked to Dzivielevski, who put out a bet that was quickly called by Zhu. Shack-Harris folded.

Dzivielevski showed he made an eight on the end with {8-}{7-}{3-}{2-}{a-} for the winner as Zhu frustratedly mucked his hand.
