Fuchs Left Short After Clash With Hachem

Level 17

No-Limit 2-7 Single Draw

Carol Fuchs saw her stack diminished when she paid off the double for Joe Hachem for what appeared to be 124,500. Hachem had made a {9-}{8-}{6-}{5-}{2-} and Fuchs said "good hand, I had a ten-six".

One hand later, Fuchs raised to 17,000 with as much behind and Frankie O'Dell defended the big blind.

"I gonna gamble," O'Dell replied and Fuchs replied "as you should". O'Dell drew two and Fuchs took one. O'Dell then jammed and Fuchs folded.

Andrew Barber was eliminated in a Seven Card Stud hand when he failed to make a pair with his short stack. Another player at risk was Carol Fuchs, who first doubled and then chopped in three-way action to chip up further.

Carol Fuchs: {x-}{x-} / {3-Clubs}{2-Clubs}{a-Hearts}{6-Diamonds} / {x-}
Frankie O'Dell: {x-}{x-} / {8-Clubs}{7-Clubs}{5-Clubs}{3-Diamonds} / {x-}
Naoya Kihara: {x-}{x-} / {10-Hearts}{j-Hearts}{7-Hearts}{k-Diamonds} / {x-}

Fuchs was all-in for 28,500 on fifth street and earned calls from Frankie O'Dell and Naoya Kihara. O'Dell bet the remaining two streets and Kihara called with the {q-Hearts}{8-Hearts}{5-Diamonds} for a flush. O'Dell had the {a-Diamonds}{k-Spades}{7-Spades} for an eight-seven low but Fuchs earned the low portion with {a-Spades}{10-Spades}{8-Spades} for an eight-six low.
