Noori Escapes From Elimination

Level 14

No-Limit Hold'em

"Bad spot," sighed Michael Noori after his jam with the {a-Diamonds}{j-Spades} ran into the {a-Spades}{q-Clubs} of Matt Waxman. The board ran out {k-Hearts}{7-Hearts}{3-Hearts}{2-Hearts}{a-Hearts} and all hearts on the board gave both players a flush as they chopped it up.

Andrzejewski Eliminated by Vengrin

Level 14

Omaha Hi-Lo

David Williams turned the nut straight in three-way action on the {9-Diamonds}{8-Hearts}{2-Clubs}{j-Diamonds}{6-Hearts} board and earned half the pot with his {a-Clubs}{q-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}{7-Spades}, as Brett Richey had the low with {a-Hearts}{9-Clubs}{5-Spades}{4-Clubs}.

One hand later, Pawel Andrzejewski raised and Frankie O'Dell made it three bets. Matt Vengrin called in the cutoff, as did Williams on the button, and Andrzejewski called with one T-500 chip behind. Andrzejewski check-called all-in after the {k-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}{9-Diamonds} flop when Vengrin bet and Williams raised. O'Dell folded and Vengrin called the raise of Williams.

Vengrin then check-called a bet by Williams on the {2-Spades} turn and they checked the {8-Spades} river.

Vengrin's {a-Spades}{k-Spades}{j-Diamonds}{3-Spades} won it all, as Williams flashed a {a-Diamonds}{j-Hearts}{4-}{3-} for a second. Andrzejewski had missed a double draw with the {8-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}{4-Hearts}{3-Hearts} to bow out right before the table broke.

Schultz Eliminates Ward

Level 14

Limit 2-7 Triple Draw

The hand was discovered with Clifton Ward all-in and at-risk versus Matthew Schultz.

On the final draw, Ward stood pat and Schultz drew one card. Next, the hands were tabled and it was the {7-}{6-}{4-}{3-}{2-} held by Schultz that bested the {8-}{7-}{6-}{4-}{2-} held by Ward, and the latter was eliminated form the tournament.

Pan and Saechao Chop

Level 14

Stud Hi-Lo

Qinghai Pan: {x-}{x-} / {a-Hearts}{4-Clubs}{6-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds} / {x-}
Kao "Flexx" Saechao: {x-}{x-} / {8-Clubs}{6-Spades}{7-Clubs}{5-Hearts} / {x-}

Qinghai Pan bet fifth street to get called by Kao "Flexx" Saechao and then bet again on sixth, which triggered a raise by Saechao with his four cards to a straight showing. Pan called and then check-called seventh to get shown the {a-Clubs}{8-Hearts}{4-Diamonds} for an eight-high straight and a low by Saechao.

Pan tabled {7-Spades}{4-Spades}{3-Spades} and earned half the pot with his superior low.

Bohlman Doubles through Donabedian

Level 14
Scott Bohlman
Scott Bohlman

No-Limit Hold'em

The hand was discovered on a flop of {9-Spades}{10-Spades}{6-Spades} with Scott Bohlman having moved all-in and Andrew Donabedian called.

The hands were tabled and it was Bohlman and {q-Spades}{7-Spades} for a flopped flush versus the {a-Spades}{j-Hearts} for Donabedian, which gave him the nut flush draw.

The turn {k-Diamonds} and the river {10-Hearts} did not change anything, and Bohlman secured a double-up and was awarded the pot.

Chad Eveslage: {x-}{x-} / {5-}{3-}{7-}{10-} fold on sixth

Chad Eveslage check-called fifth with a seven-five draw and checked again his narrow lead on sixth. Christopher Claassen defended the big blind against a button raise by Justin Liberto and check-raised the {a-Diamonds}{j-Clubs}{10-Hearts} flop, which Liberto called. Claassen bet the {10-Spades} turn with 6,500 behind and then called all-in when Liberto raised.

Christopher Claassen: {k-Clubs}{k-Diamonds}{j-Spades}{10-Clubs}
Justin Liberto: {a-Clubs}{a-Spades}{9-Clubs}{4-Hearts}

Claassen had just one out with the case ten and missed it as the {8-Spades} river completed the board.
