Silberstein Takes It on the Flop

Ernesto Herrenberg limped and it folded to Julie Talia Silberstein on the button who raised to 2,500. Stephanie Johnston called in the blinds, followed by Herrenberg.

A paired flop {a-Diamonds}{k-Hearts}{k-Diamonds} appeared and Herrenberg checked to Silberstein who continued for 3,000. It was enough to make her opponents quickly fold their hands.

Brewer Bets Big On The River

Brandan Brewer raised to 2,400 and was called by the player on the button.

Brewer checked the {k-Clubs}{4-Clubs}{10-Hearts} flop and his opponent bet 2,500 to which he called.

The action checked through the {j-Spades} turn.

Brewer bombed the {q-Clubs} river with a bet of 15,000.

His opponent smirked and said, "Even if you don't have it, you can take it" and folded.

Brewer said, "That was a good river for me."

Good Start for Alvarenga
