Livingston Eliminated by Cates' Quads

Level 15 : 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante
Alex Livingston
Alex Livingston

Pot-Limit Omaha

Dan Cates opened to 30,000 from the cutoff and action folded to Alex Livingston in the big blind, who went all in for his last 49,000. Cates called and hands were revealed.

Dan Cates: {q-Spades}{q-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds}{9-Spades}
Alex Livingston: {a-Spades}{k-Diamonds}{k-Clubs}{3-Diamonds}

Livingston was ahead with his kings, but the board ran out {5-Hearts}{q-Hearts}{10-Hearts}{q-Clubs}{k-Hearts} — leaving Cates with quad queens against Livingston's full house.

"Let's switch the turn and the river so it looks like a bad beat!" Elezra joked as Livingston made his exit.

Lamb Eliminated by Campbell

Ben Lamb
Ben Lamb

No-Limit 2-7 Single Draw

Chad Campbell raised from under the gun to 40,000 and Ben Lamb then three-bet to 150,000 out of a stack of around 800,000. Campbell wasted very little time before jamming for just under one million and that sent Lamb into the tank.

After some 90 seconds, Lamb called all-in and both players patted. Campbell rolled over the {9-}{7-}{5-}{3-}{2-} and Lamb's {9-}{8-}{7-}{5-}{4-} ended up second-best to eliminate Lamb in 23rd place.

Negreanu Crosses a Million

Level 15 : 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante
Daniel Negreanu
Daniel Negreanu

Pot-Limit Omaha

Daniel Negreanu is the latest player to cross the million chip mark following a pair of hands, most notably this one versus Chris Brewer.

On a flop of {a-Clubs}{2-Diamonds}{9-Hearts}, Negreanu bet 25,000 and got a call from Brewer in the cutoff.

The {3-Clubs} turn saw Negreanu bet again, this time for 65,000. Once again, Brewer called.

On the {8-Spades} river, Negreanu wasn't done betting, firing out 155,000, which represented about half of Brewer's remaining stack.

Without much hesitation, Brewer folded, awarding the pot to Negreanu, who also took a small Limit Hold'em pot from Chad Eveslage shortly after to put him across the million chip mark.

Schulman Doubles Through Campbell

Level 15 : 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante

No-Limit 2-7 Single Draw

Anthony Zinno raised to 25,000 under-the-gun and was called by Chad Campbell directly behind.

Action folded to Nick Schulman in the small blind, who announced he was all in for 135,000 total. Zinno folded, but Campbell called to put Schulman at risk.

Schulman stood pat and Campbell drew one.

Nick Schulman revealed {9-}{7-}{6-}{3-}{2-} and Campbell implied he was drawing dead and tried to muck his hand. The dealer prevented the muck and Campbell's final hand ended up being a ten-low — awarding Schulman the double up.
