Yan Flops a Set to Double

Level 30 : 100,000/200,000, 200,000 ante

The action folded around to Yingge Yan in the small blind and she jammed for 1,300,000. Drew Soik called in the big blind and both hands were tabled.

Yingge Yan: {4-Clubs}{4-Spades}
Drew Soik: {j-Hearts}{10-Hearts}

It was coin flip and the flop came {a-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds}, giving Yan bottom set. The {k-Hearts} turn was a sweat as Soik picked up a gutshot straight draw and a flush draw. The {a-Diamonds} was a safe one for Yan as she filled up to continue to battle for the Bracelet.

Alejandro Takes the Chip Lead

Level 30 : 100,000/200,000, 200,000 ante

With a completed board of {k-Hearts}{j-Hearts}{3-Hearts}{6-Hearts}{k-Diamonds} Lee Alejandro was seen collecting over 5,000,000 chips from Peter Kaemmerlen as the pot was over 10,000,000 total. Kaemmerlen's {a-Hearts}{10-Diamonds} was face up, which was the nut flush and Alejandro's {k-Spades}{3-Clubs} were showing as well. Alejandro made a full house, which eliminated Kaemmerlen and he gained the chip lead in the tournament.

Bad Timing for Moses as He's Left Short

Level 30 : 100,000/200,000, 200,000 ante
David Moses

Tyler Phillips raised under the gun to 400,000 and David Moses jammed his entire stack in the middle on the button. The blinds got out of the way quickly and Phillips snap-called his 4,330,000. Moses instantly yelped, "Uh oh."

Tyler Phillips: {a-Clubs}{a-Hearts}
David Moses: {9-Diamonds}{9-Clubs}

The {8-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}{6-Clubs} flop gave Moses some life as he flopped an open-ended straight draw but the {7-Clubs} turn and {2-Diamonds} river were no help, leaving him with just 500,000 in chips.

Yanovski Adds to His Stack

Level 31 : 120,000/240,000, 240,000 ante
Leonid Yanovski
Leonid Yanovski

Leonid Yanovski raised in early position, Rachel Gardner called in the hijack and Nathanael Kogel came along from the big blind.

The dealer spread a flop of {k-Hearts}{8-Clubs}{3-Diamonds} and all three players checked to see the {j-Spades}. Kogel checked once again before Yanovski put in a bet of 500,000 and only Gardner made the call.

The {10-Spades} hit the river and both players instantly checked before Yanovski tabled {a-Spades}{j-Hearts} for a pair of jacks and Gardner mucked her hand.

Top Pair Good for Phillips

Level 31 : 120,000/240,000, 240,000 ante

In a heads-up pot, the flop was {q-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}{3-Clubs} and Lee Alejandro check-called a bet of 310,000 from Tyler Phillips.

The {2-Diamonds} hit the turn and Alejandro check-called once again, this time the bet was 730,000.

When the {7-Hearts} hit the river, neither player put any bets into the middle and Alejandro tabled {a-Clubs}{8-Diamonds} for middle pair on the flop before Phillips took it down with {q-Spades}{10-Hearts}.
