Manuel Ruivo Eliminated in 17th Place ($4,584)

Level 24 : 20,000/40,000, 40,000 ante
Manuel Ruivo
Manuel Ruivo

Manuel Ruivo moved all-in pre-flop and was called by Jeff Gross.

The hands were turned face up and it was Ruivo's {k-Hearts}{q-Hearts}{j-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds} at-risk and that trailed the {a-Spades}{a-Clubs}{3-Spades}{3-Diamonds} held by Gross.

The dealer flopped the {2-Diamonds}{9-Clubs}{6-Diamonds} which kept Gross ahead, but Ruivo picked up a diamond flush draw.

The turn card was the {k-Spades} and nothing changed.

The river card {2-Spades} made it official and Gross was awarded the pot, which eliminated Ruivo in 17th place for which he received $4,584 in cash.

Timo Kamphues

The chips all went into the pot pre-flop with Timo Kamphues all-in and at-risk against Matt Mamiya.

The hands were tabled and it was the {k-Spades}{k-Clubs}{7-Spades}{2-Hearts} held by Kamphues that trailed the {a-Spades}{a-Hearts}{9-Hearts}{6-Hearts} held by Mamiya.

The dealer spread the flop of {8-Hearts}{j-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds} and Mamiya remained in the lead.

The {2-Clubs} turn and the {10-Diamonds} river changed nothing and Mamiya was awarded the pot to eliminate Kamphues in 18th place.

Kenneth Po
Kenneth Po

Kenneth Po was all-in and at-risk on a completed board of the {7-Spades}{2-Spades}{2-Hearts}{4-Spades}{a-Spades} versus Jeff Gross and Nikolay Yosifov.

All hands were turned face up at the showdown due to the all-in player.

After all the dust had settled, it was the {8-Clubs}{7-Hearts}{6-Spades}{5-Spades} for a spade flush held by Yosifov that bested the {k-Diamonds}{k-Clubs}{j-Hearts}{j-Diamonds} and the {j-Spades}{j-Clubs}{10-Hearts}{4-Clubs} held by Gross and Po, and the latter was eliminated from the tournament in 20th place and took home $3,866 in cash for his finish.

Terpstra Takes One to Horton

Level 23 : 15,000/30,000, 30,000 ante

The flop was showing {9-Diamonds}{k-Hearts}{4-Spades} in a heads-up raised pot when Rodney Horton checked from the small blind and so did Ryan Terpstra.

A {j-Hearts} fell on the turn and Horton fired 230,000. After a minute, Terpstra made the call.

Both checked on the {7-Clubs} river. Horton showed {k-Spades}{10-Spades}{10-Clubs}{5-Clubs} for a pair of kings and the pot was sent to Terpstra who revealed {q-Hearts}{j-Spades}{9-Spades}{8-Hearts} for two pair.
