Schumacher Eliminated By Reiser

Level 21 : 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante

Stefan Reiser raised to 40,000 from under-the-gun and action folded to Yannick Schumacher in the small blind who three-bet to 110,000. Reiser called quickly.

The flop came out {9-Spades}{8-Spades}{2-Diamonds} where Schumacher bet 65,000 which Reiser quickly called.

The turn was the {k-Diamonds} where Schumacher bet once more, this time to the tune of 165,000 which Reiser called once more.

The river {9-Diamonds} saw Schumacher check and Reiser responded with an all-in bet of 400,000 effective, covering Schumacher. Schumacher went into the tank and began talking to himself about potential nines that Reiser could have before ultimately putting his stack in to call. Reiser tabled {8-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds} for a rivered flush, while Schumacher turned over {k-Clubs}{q-Diamonds} for kings and nines, which was no good. He wished his tablemates good luck as he left the tournament.

Tan Takes Out Kudzmanas

Level 21 : 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante

A player in middle position opened and Lisa Tan three-bet jammed a stack of about 1,000,000 from the small blind. Marius Kudzmanas called in the big blind with less and the initial opener folded.

Marius Kudzmanas: {j-Hearts}{j-Spades}
Lisa Tan: {k-Hearts}{q-Clubs}

"That's a bad one," the at-risk Kudzmanas said when he saw his opponent had a hand he was flipping against.

The flop of {q-Hearts}{9-Hearts}{2-Spades} gave Tan the lead and Kudzmanas was eliminated when the board ran out {3-Hearts}{6-Diamonds}.

Rezaei Eliminated by Sammer

Level 21 : 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante

Armin Rezaei in the small blind was all-in and at risk against Harald Sammer in late position.

Armin Rezaei: {a-Spades}{2-Hearts}
Harald Sammer: {k-Clubs}{q-Spades}

Rezaei had the lead with ace-high but the flop of {3-Diamonds}{9-Clubs}{j-Hearts} gave his opponent additional outs with a gutshot straight draw. The {10-Diamonds} turn got Sammer there and Rezaei hit the rail after the {9-Diamonds} peeled off on the river.

Serock Finds The River

Level 20 : 10,000/15,000, 15,000 ante

Joe Serock raised to 30,000 in early position and from the hijack, Steven Olson went all-in for 130,000. The action went back around to Serock, who called.

Steven Olson: {a-Diamonds}{q-Diamonds}
Joe Serock: {10-Hearts}{10-Spades}

The {6-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}{9-Diamonds} gave Olson a flush draw to go with his overcards and the turn {a-Hearts} gave Olson top pair and the best hand and left Serock drawing to a ten or seven that was not a diamond. The river brought him exactly that as the {7-Clubs} peeled off, giving Serock a ten-high straight and leaving Olson with no remaining chips.

Magnus Eliminated By Hamlet

Level 20 : 10,000/15,000, 15,000 ante
Nadya Magnus
Nadya Magnus

Brandon Hamlet raised to 30,000 in early position and the action got all the way around to Nadya Magnus in the small blind who moved all-in for 83,000. That folded out the big blind, but Hamlet quickly called.

Nadya Magnus: {q-Spades}{9-Spades}
Brandon Hamlet: {a-Diamonds}{j-Clubs}

The {a-Hearts}{3-Hearts}{q-Clubs}{k-Hearts}{10-Hearts} board did not provide enough help to Magnus and she left the tournament area as Hamlet consumed her stack.
