Level 14 : 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante
Aladin Reskallah
Aladin Reskallah

The hand with Aladin Reskallah was picked up on the turn with the board showing {6-Hearts}{5-Diamonds}{k-Spades}{10-Clubs} and a player in the big blind checked.

Reskallah bet 15,000 and the big blind quickly called. The river was {9-Diamonds} and the big blind led out with a bet of 80,000.

Reskallah tanked briefly before going all-in for about 100,000. The big blind quickly mucked not calling the extra 20,000 in the pot of already 180,000 and Reskallah scooped in the massive pot without a showdown.

Depaulo Doubles Through Chen

Level 13 : 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante

After busting before dinner, Ryan Depaulo re-entered and was involved in a pot with Pete Chen. Chen jammed in the small blind and Depaulo quickly called off his 17,500 stack in the big blind.

Ryan Depaulo: {a-Diamonds}{q-Clubs}
Pete Chen: {q-Spades}{6-Spades}

The board ran out {a-Spades}{k-Clubs}{7-Clubs}{10-Spades}{3-Clubs} and Depaulo doubled after a slight sweat.

"Nice hand," one player at the table said.

"Thanks, I played it perfectly," Depaulo replied.

Moreno Doubles Up in a Battle of the Blinds

Level 13 : 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante
Johnnie Moreno
Johnnie Moreno

Johnnie Moreno was left with about five big blinds when it folded around to him in the small blind and he went all-in. The big blind called the 14,000 to put Moreno at risk for his tournament life.

Johnnie Moreno: {j-Hearts}{9-Hearts}
Big Blind: {q-Hearts}{2-Hearts}

Moreno needed to catch one of his live cards because his opponent also had hearts and the board would run out {a-Spades}{8-Clubs}{9-Spades}{k-Clubs}{a-Clubs} giving Moreno a nine on the flop to win the pot.

Moreno then said "My strategy is just to have the worst hand against you all the time" joking to the big blind as he scooped the pot.
