Yokosawa Takes From Hall

Level 6 : 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante

Action folded around to the blinds, where Galen Hall called from the small and Masato Yokosawa checked his option in the big.

Hall bet 6,000 on the {j-Clubs}{j-Hearts}{a-Clubs} flop and Yokosawa called.

The {j-Spades} came on the turn and Hall bet again — this time for 12,000. Yokosawa again called.

Hall checked when the {3-Hearts} completed the board and Yokosawa bet 12,000.

Hall quickly folded and told Yokosawa, "You have to show quads."

"No quads," Yokosawa responded as he collected the pot.

Guilbert Forces a Fold From Petrangelo

Level 6 : 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante

Four ways on a {7-Clubs}{4-Clubs}{5-Clubs} flop, Darren Elias checked from the big blind to Johan Guilbert in the hijack, who bet 6,000. Nicholas Danias folded from the cutoff, Nick Petrangelo called on the button and Elias folded.

Guilbert check-called a bet of about 20,000 from Petrangelo on the {3-Clubs} turn and then Guilbert led out for 10,000 when the {q-Spades} completed the board. Petrangelo responded by raising to 40,000 and then Guilbert came back over the top for about 200,000 total.

Petrangelo quickly folded — awarding the pot to Guilbert.

"I just had a king," Petrangelo said.

Dario Sammartino

Dario Sammartino opened to 12,000 from the hijack and Mustapha Kanit called on the button.

Kanit called a 10,000 bet from Sammartino on the {j-Diamonds}{2-Spades}{a-Hearts} flop and a 24,000 bet from Sammartino on the {8-Hearts} turn.

Sammartino checked on the {3-Hearts} river — prompting a 24,000 bet from Kanit. Sammartino quickly called and Kanit tabled {a-Spades}{q-Diamonds} for a pair of aces, queen kicker.

It was no good, however, as Sammartino revealed {a-Clubs}{k-Clubs} for aces with a superior kicker and Sammartino collected the pot.

On a board of {j-Spades}{j-Clubs}{a-Spades}{3-Spades} Stephen Chidwick tossed out a bet of 25,000 chips and was called by Chino Rheem.

The river card was the {3-Hearts} and this time Chidwick pushed enough chips in the middle to put Rheem all-in. After he tanked for a few, Rheem opted to call and mucked after he was shown the bad news when Chidwick tabled {j-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds} for a full house, jacks full of treys.

With that hand, Rheem was eliminated from the tournament.

Yifrach Lays it Down

Level 5 : 3,000/5,000, 5,000 ante

Gal Yifrach opened to 10,000 on the button and Orpen Kisacikoglu three-bet to 40,000 from the small blind. Yifrach called.

Kisacikoglu continued for a 25,000 bet on the {2-Diamonds}{a-Diamonds}{10-Spades} flop and Yifrach called.

Both players checked on the {5-Diamonds} turn; however, Kisacikoglu fired 126,000 into the middle on the {7-Hearts} river — sending Yifrach deep into the tank.

Yifrach eventually let his hand go after using a few time extensions and Kisacikoglu dragged the pot.
