Yu Scoops a Big One

Level 16 : 6,000/12,000, 0 ante
Ben Yu
Ben Yu

Ben Yu raised from middle position and was called by Mark Gregorich on the button and Ken Aldridge in the small blind.

Yu proceeded to bet when checked to on every street, and both Greogorich and Aldridge called each street. First on the {2-Hearts}{6-Hearts}{q-Diamonds} flop, then on the {8-Clubs} turn, and lastly on the {8-Spades} river.

Yu held the {a-Clubs}{a-Spades}{q-Clubs}{3-Hearts} for two pair and a low and Gregorich held {a-Diamonds}{2-Spades}{9-Clubs}{3-Spades} for the same low but an inferior high.

Aldridge mucked and Yu took down the majority of the pot.

Level 16 : 6,000/12,000, 0 ante

Josh Damm was out of position in a heads-up pot against Ben Landowski.

Damm bet out on the {10-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds}{a-Clubs} flop and Landowski called. Damm then check-called on the {2-Spades} turn and again check-called on the {a-Hearts} river.

Landowski tabled {10-Spades}{8-Hearts}{5-Spades}{3-Clubs} for a low and Damm showed {k-Diamonds}{k-Spades}{8-Clubs}{7-Diamonds} for the high hand, and the two players split the pot.

Phil Hellmuth raised on the button and was three-bet by Eddie Blumenthal from the small blind. Action folded back to Hellmuth, who tossed in a call.

Both players checked on the {k-Spades} turn; however, Blumenthal decided to lead out on the {10-Diamonds} river.

"What the f***?" Hellmuth exclaimed before tossing his cards into the muck.
