Hudon Gets Paid with the Nuts

Level 24 : 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante

The board read {6-Clubs}{5-Clubs}{2-Diamonds}{k-Clubs} with around 1,000,000 in the middle already. Eliot Hudon checked to Olivier Rebello who bet 285,000. Hudon check-raised to 600,000 and Rebello called.

The river was the {j-Spades} and Hudon pushed all in for 740,000. Rebello asked for a count and then dipped into the tank for a few minutes. Stephen Gerber called the clock but the rest of the table agreed to let Rebello have some more time.

Rebello eventually made the call and Hudon turned over {a-Clubs}{q-Clubs} for the nut flush. Rebello showed his {a-Diamonds}{k-Spades} before his cards went into the muck.
