Zevola Gets Value

Level 3 : 200/400, 400 ante

A round of betting on the {a-Diamonds}{7-Spades}{5-Diamonds}{10-Clubs} board saw Marco Zevola, Simon Casserly and Kelly Minkin three ways to the {a-Spades} river.

Zevola was first to act and bet 1,900, earning a call from Minkin. Zevola showed {a-Clubs}{8-Spades} for trip aces, as Minkin mucked and slid her calling chips to the left.

Urgently Needed Pot for Ashton

Level 3 : 200/400, 400 ante

Joining the action on the {10-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}{2-Hearts} turn, the small blind made it 2,000 to go and Matthew Ashton called from a late position. He then faced another bet worth 2,000 on the {9-Spades} river and raised to 12,000, which represented nearly his entire remaining stack. No call followed and the British mixed game specialist won the pot.

Brown Collects on River

Level 3 : 200/400, 400 ante

Action was on the turn with the board reading {6-Clubs}{8-Clubs}{j-Spades}{3-Hearts}. Both players in the hand checked to the river which was the {3-Clubs}.

D'Antonio Brown bet 15,000 into a pot of 22,000. Dennis Beres thought it out before folding his hand.

"Any other player I would have shoved" said Beres as his chips went over to Brown.

Marder Flops Better Flush

Level 3 : 200/400, 400 ante
Michael Marder
Michael Marder

On a {8-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds} flop, a player in early position bet 3,200 and Michael Marder called on the button.

The {10-Clubs} turn saw a 9,000 bet from the early position player and another call by Marder.

On the {j-Hearts} river, the early position player bet 30,000 to leave himself with 26,000 behind. Marder thought about it for a little.

"The nuts?" he asked.

Marder ended up making the call. His opponent turned over {q-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds} while Marder showed {k-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds} for the better flush.

"I wasn't slow rolling you, I promise," Marder said. "I thought you had a very strong hand. I knew you weren't bluffing."
