Adam Down for the Day; Wins a Pot

Level 2 : 200/300, 300 ante

Two WSOP bracelet winners can be found over on table 490 in Kazuki "hyahhoo3" Ikeuchi and Jean-Luc Adam. Ikeuchi won an online event while Adam took down the Super Seniors competition. It was a bad start so far for Adam as he lost a bigger portion of his stack in the first hand he played with kings versus aces.

Just now he min-three-bet to 1,100 and earned two calls. On the {k-Spades}{8-Clubs}{2-Hearts} flop, the action checked to Adam and his bet of 1,600 forced two folds. Early big stack on the table is Joseph Beltran in the four seat.

The turn came the {q-Clubs} and this time Brown led out for 4,000. His opponent quickly called but mucked when Brown turned over {9-Clubs}{4-Clubs} for the rivered flush.

2021 Main Event Ends Abruptly for Negreanu

Level 2 : 200/300, 300 ante
Daniel Negreanu
Daniel Negreanu

Ayman Mahfoud raised from the cutoff, Daniel Negreanu three-bet on the button, Ross Feldman called the three-bet from the small blind. Mahfoud then four-bet, Negreanu five-bet jammed all in, Feldman folded and Mahfoud snap-called.

Daniel Negreanu: {k-Diamonds}{k-Hearts}
Ayman Mahfoud: {a-Clubs}{a-Spades}

It was the worst news possible for Negreanu as he was looking for a king to keep his main event from ending so soon.

But the flop came {6-Spades}{a-Diamonds}{8-Clubs} to effectively end things, the turn was the {9-Spades} and the river the {7-Clubs} to eliminate Negreanu who started to record his final hand as his Main Event ended disappointingly early for him and his many fans in the poker world.
