Kiriopoulos Lays One Down

Demosthenes Kiriopoulos opened to 500 in early position and was called by Michael Flink in the cutoff along with both of the blinds. The flop came {a-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds} and the blinds checked to Kiriopoulos who continued for 1,200. Flink called and the blinds got out of the way.

The turn brought the {k-Hearts} and both players checked to the {9-Spades} on the river. Kiriopoulos checked again and Flink pushed out a bet of 5,000. Kiriopoulos checked his cards again and threw them to the muck.

Action went check-check on the {j-Hearts} river and Nitsche tabled {5-Diamonds}{5-Clubs}, but Landowski had it beat with {10-Hearts}{10-Clubs}.

Gianluca Marcucci raised to 600 from early position and the small blind and Erick Lindgren in the big blind called.

The flop of {a-Clubs}{10-Spades}{6-Clubs} was checked all the way through to the turn of {q-Clubs}, which was checked to Marcucci who bet 1,000 and got a quick fold from the small blind and a call from Lindgren.

The river came out a {6-Hearts} and Lindgren checked to Marcucci who bet 2,000 which Lindgren briefly thought about before letting his hand go into the muck.
