Ramos Nearly Doubles in Two Hands

Level 19

5-Card Draw High

Anatolii Zyrin raised on the button and Felipe Ramos called. On the first draw, Ramos took one while Zyrin took three.

"I am the best short stack player in the world," Ramos grinned and then moved all-in. "You have a good chance," Zyrin replied and then folded to the shove for the last 35,000.

"You have to see this," Ramos said and tossed his cards over to the Russian, who revealed a straight.

Ramos then jammed out of the small blind and Naoya Kihara folded the {3-Clubs}{3-Spades} face-up.

Zyrin Takes One From Claassen; Madsen Loses Some

Level 19

Seven Card Stud

Anatolii Zyrin: {x-}{x-} / {k-Hearts}{q-Diamonds}{4-Hearts}{k-Diamonds} / {x-}
Christopher Claassen: {x-}{x-} / {2-Spades}{3-Clubs}{4-Spades}{10-Diamonds} / {x-}

Anatolii Zyrin check-called on fifth street and then checked sixth when he paired the king, prompting Claassen to check behind. Both also checked seventh and Zyrin's {10-Clubs}{7-Diamonds}{7-Hearts} for two pair won the pot.

Big O

After the game variant changed, Jeff Madsen raised to 40,000 on the button and Claassen defended the big blind. They headed to the {j-Hearts}{10-Hearts}{3-Hearts} flop on which Claassen check-raised from 25,000 to 75,000 and Madsen let go.

Rast Doubles Again

Level 19

Pot-Limit Omaha

Mike Gorodinsky raised to 25,000 on the button and was three-bet to 87,000 by Ben Diebold in the small blind.

Brian Rast then moved all in for 215,000 in the big blind.

Gorodinsky folded, but Diebold called.

Brian Rast: {a-Diamonds}{k-Hearts}{j-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}
Ben Diebold: {a-Spades}{a-Hearts}{9-Hearts}{4-Spades}

The {q-Hearts}{10-Spades}{5-Spades} brought a wrap to Rast and a flush draw to Diebold. The {8-Diamonds} turn gave Rast his straight, and the {10-Clubs} river didn't help Diebold, giving Rast another double-up to over 400,000.

Ramos Denied a Double on the Feature Table

Level 19

Seven Card Stud Hi-Lo

Felipe Ramos: {8-Hearts}{7-Hearts} / {3-Clubs}{2-Hearts}{6-Spades}{5-Spades} / {4-Diamonds}
Anatolii Zyrin: {10-Clubs}{7-Clubs} / {8-Clubs}{q-Clubs}{k-Diamonds}{8-Spades} / {a-Clubs}

Felipe Ramos completed and Anatolii Zyrin called. Ramos then bet fourth and was all-in for 36,000 on fifth. The Brazilian had the unbeatable low and even made a rare seven-card straight but Zyrin rivered a flush to secure the split pot.

On the outer table, Greg Mueller won a medium-sized pot off Mike Gorodinsky when his eight in Razz beat a nine.
